Your typical day at Inhabit could involve:

• Handling full sets of books, including bank reconciliation, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• General Ledger, cashflow statement, monthly reconciliation, monthly and quarterly reporting
• Running reports from a project management software as required, training will be provided
• Collection of outstanding debtors, follow-up on remittance advice with clients as required
• Liaising with all offices within the group on the company project invoicing system and accounts related matters as required
• Ad-hoc duties as required
• Keeping up to date with relevant industry accounting news and updates

We are looking for a AP Accountant to join the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform daily account payable duties, such as:

· Checking and processing employee expense claims

· Reviewing and posting vendor invoices

· Processing payments to vendors

· Handling vendor statement reconciliation

Prepare reports, such as:

· AP aging overview and analysis

· T&E exceptions

· IT expense drilldowns

· Handle intercompany service fees and cost recharges and reconciliation.

· Keep accurate and complete records.

· Any other ad hoc projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum:

· Minimum Diploma holder in Accounting or equivalent.

· At least 1 year of accounting and finance experience.

· Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with good command of written and spoken English.

· Detail-oriented with good analytical and reporting skills.

· Basic knowledge of GST and familiarity with SAP and Concur is a plus.

Position title: Senior Accountant

Working Days: 5 days (Mon-Fri)

Working hours: 8am – 5.30pm

Salary: $4,000 - $6,000 (depends experience)

Responsibilities:

• Manage full sets of account books of limited risk distributors including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, handle rental and intercompany billings, processing and approving staff claims, submission of GST, monthly closing, perform bank reconciliation, drafting of financial statements and all other related matters.
