Responsibilities:

• Assist Local Customers and overseas freight forwarders by understanding their requirements and providing tailored solutions.
• Communicate regularly with Local Customers and overseas agent offices to update them on shipment statuses and ensure seamless coordination.
• Source and secure new sales opportunities through inbound inquiries, outbound cold calls, and emails and schedule appointments for sales.
• Prepare and submit competitive quotations for cross-trade and international shipments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client needs.
• Track sales leads, coordinate quotes, and maintain accurate customer accounts while providing excellent customer service.
• Follow up proactively on submitted quotations to achieve a high success rate and close deals effectively.
• Support the operations department to ensure successful delivery of services that meet or exceed agent expectations.
• Ensure all data are updated in system/spreadsheets and work closely with HQ Marketing Manager for further development and support business growth.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Management to contribute to organisational success.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of both Freight operations and sales processes
• Min 4 years of experience in the freight forwarding (Air & Ocean) industry within commercial areas, preferably with ocean exposure in a regional role

Job Responsibilites:

• Determine a standard cost box rate by equipment size type for each port-pair combination
• Define principles and implement logic for computing variable cost components at the geographical and trade level.
• Develop costing logics continuously to drive optimal pricing and cargo selection decisions
• Identify and report any discrepancies between calculated and actual shipping operations costs.
• Cooperate with various stakeholders from regional offices, local agents, procurement, finance, trades, etc.
• Backend data analysis and system improvement to increase costing accuracy

Requirements:

• Min. Degree in Maritime, Data Science, Statistics or equivalent.
• Prior experience in Standard Costing would be advantageous (knowledge in Tableau, Power BI)
• Outstanding spreadsheet, presentation, and data management abilities.
