Position

Credit Research Analyst covering European high yield bond issuers. The analyst will be tasked with conducting rigorous credit analysis and publishing high-quality research for European high yield issuers using Lucror’s proprietary analytical framework. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in credit markets, preferably with strong experience in corporate high yield.

What the day will look like

Role is primarily to look after the credit control function of several territories and attend to settlement queries.

Credit Control Matters

• Ensure timely settlements from Clients/Reinsurers in accordance to contract terms and procedures

The Accounts Officer is responsible for processing credit application, invoicing, debt collection, account receivable cashiering, reconciliation and month end requirement. He/ She must ensure the accuracy of all charges and credits to the various debtor accounts and ensure they are posted on a timely basis. Accounts Receivable Duties

City Ledger:

· To assess the customer's credit worthiness by research through various available sources and to recommend credit approval or disapproval to the Management.

· In the AR module, set up AR accounts for newly approved credits and ensure creditors’ details are correct at all times.

Credit Cards:

Month End:

Credit Control Duties

Credit applications:

· Process credit applications within 10 working days, ensuring that clients are notified promptly and professionally.

· The credit worthiness of all applicants is formally checked and approval received from Director of Finance.

· Review the credit worthiness of all existing non-Accor approved clients on a yearly basis.

City Ledger:

· Ensure all invoices / statement are issued on a timely basis.

· Report on monthly accounts receivable ageing analysis and detailed accounts’ ledgers.

· Conduct credit meetings at least once a month.

· Attend Credit Managers Group meetings to remain well informed credit risks.

· Appropriately manage all delinquent accounts, liaising with debt collectors where needed.

· Review and recommend accounts to be written off, providing appropriate documentation.

• Read and understand the cases in the system
• Examine the case supporting documents and extract relevant data, eg. credit reports.
• Clarify / verify information with client
• Conduct account verification with the creditors according to the guidelines
• Prepare and generate DMP documents according to guidelines
• Liaise with help seekers on documents submissions
• Submit draft DMP proposals for internal review committee’s approval according to the guidelines
• Schedule Clearance Session for client
• Queue draft DMP proposals for sending to creditors
• Update team’s spreadsheet
• Scan case documents into the system, eg. DMS Attachment
• Relief team member when required
• Perform counter duty according to roster and when required
• Attend to signing of documents and to clients who come for Clearance
• Adhere to new policies / procedures rolled out by Management
• Adhere to PDPA policies and observe client’s info confidentiality
• Any other job & duty as & when assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma in Finance, Accountancy, Banking & Financial Services or Business Administration
• Possess at least 5 years of working experience
• Meticulous with data entries and document formatting.
• Candidates with banking experience in credit or loans; or in social service sector would be a plus.
• Persons with empathy and patience would be good fit.
