Duties of Laboratory Manager:

• Document, revise, and assess lab methods in collaboration with Quality, Operations, and Business Development teams.
• Contribute to strategic planning and projects to meet customer needs and expand lab capabilities.
• Plan and coordinate validation of chemistry test methods, reporting progress to leadership.
• Lead staff development, implement training programs, and conduct weekly technical training sessions.
• Monitor technical performance, ensuring competency through standardized KPIs and addressing any issues.
• Provide technical support across sites, resolving issues and ensuring smooth operations.
• Assess market needs for testing services and support budget planning and reporting.
• Maintain scientific integrity, ensuring quality control and resolving any technical issues.
• Lead customer communication, addressing technical inquiries and ensuring prompt resolution.
• Participate in technical audits, driving continuous improvement in Health, Safety, and Environment practices.

Requirements:

• PhD in Chemistry
• 10 years of relevant experience with Food Testing Lab and Commercial Testing Lab

Job Responsibilities

• Lead a Team in HQ, managing multiple projects.
• Responsible to the Division Head for the business result of the team.
• Undertake continued development of the team in accordance with the approved business success plan.
• Source business for the company / division generally by client contact, networking with other Exceltec (XC) departments as well as general promotion of XC services.
• Undertake training and development of the people within the Team and promote an on-going career path for them within PAM.
• Provide leadership, managerial direction and personal encouragement to all employees within the Team, including guidance on all property management procedures.
• Responsible for the efficacy of complaints management within the Team.
• Liaise with existing building owners on property management performance, including the use of tenant and client surveys.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Building / Estate Management, Facilities Management, or Engineering disciplines with Accredited Strata Manager or equivalent.
• Candidate must possess at least 8 - 12 years of working experience in related field, preferably with both managing agent and asset management experience.
• Knowledge of MCST function and BMSMA an added advantage.
• Good Communication, Interpersonal, and Organisation skills.
• Knowledge of accounting, contracts administration, and statutory requirements.
• Strong analytical skills, meticulous and able to work independently.
• Excellent writing and oral skills.
• Good computer literacy.
• Able to handle pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Candidates with lesser years (less than 8 years) of relevant experience will be considered for (HQ) Assistant Property Manager postion.

Job Description

(a) Report and assist Project Director (PD) on project functions included but not limited to project management, site management, risk control management etc. to meet the project(s) goals;

(b) Leading and mentoring a project team by setting guidelines and/or procedures, providing advice and supervision when necessary;

(c) Responsible for overall Project Management activities inclusive of overall planning and coordination of project from award of project, design, construction to completion within established budget, schedule and quality standards;

(d) Assist PD in collations of project progress reports e.g. Monthly Report, VO Management, EOT Assessment, Project Progress Updates, etc;

(e) Monitor project development schedule and manage the day-to-day operations of a program, project or function, including developing short and long-range goals, objectives and budgets, coordinating activities with other Contractors;

(f) Conduct technical reviews to ensure compliance with Contractual requirements and target completion date is met;

(g) Liaise with Client’s Representatives, Consultants and/or Contractors engaged on the project and attend regular meetings so as to ensure the progress is on schedule;

(h) Supervise and monitoring the site labor force and monitor the work of Subcontractors including resolve any unexpected construction difficulties and other problems that may arise;

(i) Oversee quality control and safety matters on the site and to ensure Environmental, Safety & Health (EHS) practices are carried out at all time and identify high risks safety hazard activities before construction and approval of Method Statements;

(j) Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit.

Requirements:

(a) Degree recognised by Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB) in Civil Engineering or equivalent 10 years and more of working experience in the construction industry.

(b) Experience in LTA/Roadworks/MRT/Viaducts projects.

Our client, a MNC in Freight Forwarding industry is seeking for a Freight Manager ( Documentation ) - $ 8,500.00 + AWS + VB / MNC / CENTRALWEST AREA

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain or relevant
• Min 7 to 8 years experience overseeing a team of 10 to run a Sea / Ocean Freight Export Operation for key account clients
• Extensive background in Freight Forwarding industry (Agent environment)
• Strong experience in Shipping, Booking and full Documentation functions
• Strong leadership skill
• Possess good communication & interpersonal skills
