Job Responsibilities

• Assist Hotel GM in managing the day-to-day operation of the hotel.
• Provide courteous and efficient service and if possible to comply with each and guests' request.
• Familiar with rates in the hotel and their availability status; up-sell whenever possible.
• Ensures that all Front Office staff with guest contact responsibility is well-mannered and groomed as per company standard at all times.
• Ensures Housekeeping team maintain the guideline of Hotel cleaning standard & procedures.
• Resolves issues pertaining to guest’s negative feedback and manages the complaint effectively to maximize guest satisfaction and communicate to Management for any necessary follow up.
• Ensure guest room security, emergency and fire procedures; encourage the use of Safe Deposit boxes (El-Safe) and adhere to policies & procedures for their use.
• Be familiar with hotel facilities and functions as well as major city attractions and events; provide guests with accurate information as requested. Ensure a professional and courteous working relationship and maintain an effective flow of communication with all hotel personnel.

Job Requirements

• Minimum with GCE 'O' Level
• Cert in Hospitality or Tourism management will be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years work experience as Assistant Manager or Team Leader - Front Office / Guest Relations / Housekeeping in a hotel.
• Well-developed communication and customer relations skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills and proven problem-solving skills.
• Strong Leadership qualities including professionalism and excellent presentation.
• Good planning and execution skills with ability to be persistent while focusing on detail elements of tasks.
• Mature, meticulous, resourceful, organized and able to work independently.
• Chinese speaking will be an advantage, as our corporate office based in China, as well as email communication in Chinese with China clients.
• Able to work on rotating shifts and on weekend/PH

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management:

• Plan production schedules to ensure food is prepared and delivered on time.
• Manage stock levels to avoid waste and ensure availability.
• Ensure food quality and hygiene meet safety regulations.
• Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency.

2. Team Management:

• Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff.
• Organize staff schedules and assign tasks.
• Evaluate performance and resolve any team issues.

3. Menu Development:

• Ensure consistent food quality across locations.

4. Logistics:

• Coordinate timely delivery of food products.
• Optimize delivery routes to reduce costs.

5. Budget and Cost Control:

• Plan and manage budgets for labor, supplies, and equipment.
• Monitor expenses and find cost-saving opportunities without lowering quality.

6. Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
• Maintain a safe working environment for staff.

7. Maintenance:

• Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the facility.

8. Quality Control:

• Produce quality control reports and maintain records.

9. Hands-on Management:

• Be involved in daily operations.

10. Driver’s License:

• A valid Class 4/3 driver's license is required.

11. Ad hoc duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in a similar role in food production.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, SFA, Halal and etc).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems efficiently.

• recognised qualification in Food Science or Baking
• knowledge of functional ingredients in baking
• good working knowledge of bread and cake production
• excellent computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
• good command of written and spoken English
• able to travel overseas as and when required

Objectives of this role

• Develop and expand health and beauty products B2B business to Japanese clients.
• Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships.
• Maintain client records, contracts, and all sales activities.
• Provide support marketing and sales team when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Developing and meeting sales leads (Japanese clients) and identifying customer needs.
• Presenting and demonstrating new products to clients.

• Doing market research to benchmark sales performance with industry standards.
• Acting as a point of contact between customers and companies, and handling inquiries and requests from customers and address their needs.
• Negotiating terms of sales and agreements and closing sales with customers.

• Support marketing team with various activities like workshops, media events, etc.

• Proficient in Japanese language
