• Prepare and submit daily reports which include visitorship, checks on gallery, status of defects in the gallery, etc;
• Stock take and replenish collaterals and premiums;
• Pack premiums for visits and/or events;
• Manage simple troubleshooting for the gallery’s exhibits and infrastructure
• Liaise with other vendors and contractors to ensure that above daily duties are carried out properly;
• Attend the fire safety briefings, fire drills and handle incidents such as accidents with injury or illness, any acts of disturbance or violence and acts of mischief or vandalism in the gallery;
• Manage and schedule volunteers;
• Perform non-cash transactions for sales of merchandise, monitor stock levels, and conduct inventory counts; and
• Any other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Good communication, adaptive reasoning and interpersonal skills;
• Meticulous, independent and service oriented;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office;
• Relevant customer service experience;
• Presentably attired in office wear.
• Basic knowledge of the exhibit content and be familiar with the gallery layout.
• Be familiar with organisation’s bizSAFE documents such as Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures, fire escape routes and fire emergency procedures

The Opportunity

• 5 minutes from MRT
• Be prepared to work on weekend and public holidays
• Off on Monday (unless it is a public holiday)
• 8.15 am to 6.15 pm (10 hours inclusive 1 hour lunch break)
• 4-day work shift (@36 hours work-week including 4 x 1 hour lunch break per day)

Manage and operate POS systems, including all card and cash transactions

· Assist in taking customer orders, recommending menu specialties, and upselling promotions

· Inform customers about available modes of payments, and be well equipped to perform each transaction efficiently

· Check and print correct bills for customers

· Check all bills with the customers to ensure accuracy of bill

· Check and balance cash floats at the beginning and end of each work shift

· Assist in self-collection take-away services for customers, wrapping and packing food products to ensure they are in good condition before handed to customers

· Handle delivery platform apps and process orders promptly and effectively

· Set up tables, chairs, and all service mis en place according to SOP while adhering strictly to hygiene and safety standards

· Check food and beverages against orders to ensure right dishes are served to respective customers

· Assist to clear tables and dishes from dining area and side stations

· Attend to customer enquiries/feedback politely and professionally, and arrange for supervisors to attend to customers where necessary

· Assist in Beverage preparation and daily operations at the back kitchen

· Follow and ensure appropriate personal hygiene and sanitation procedures are met

· Smile, upkeep good grooming, be service oriented, provide good customer service

· Any other duties as assigned by Management
