Responsibilities

• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests & support internet users for email and other technical assistance
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Deliver technical support to employees across the organization, either in person or remotely.
• Set up accounts for new users and ensure a seamless onboarding experience
• Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
• Testing new technology
• Maintenance activities for regular and adhoc system patches or upgrades
• Server administration, network administration, desk and networking support for business users and clients
• Manage daily backup of server and user files along with safekeeping, transfer, migration or recovery of data
• Contingency planning and information systems administration
• Oversee the installation, upgrade, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer and network hardware and software
• Handle other ad hoc tasks and assignments as needed

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
• Must be familiar with Windows environment for client PC & servers
• At least 5 years of relevant experience

About the role

We seeking talented Japanese Service Crew to join our team in our Raffles Place restaurant. As part of our dynamic front-of-house team, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our discerning guests. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in an upscale, fast-paced hospitality environment and be part of a passionate team dedicated to culinary excellence.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and serving guests in a warm, friendly and efficient manner

Providing detailed menu knowledge and making knowledgeable recommendations to enhance the dining experience

Ensuring the restaurant floor is well-maintained, organised and presentable at all times

Assisting with food and drink service, including setting tables, clearing dishes and replenishing supplies

Handling cash and card payments accurately

Responding promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests

Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene protocols

What we're looking for

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and Japanese

Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Follow closely on bill size to ensure existing insurance coverage is sufficient
• Engage with respective departments and doctors to provide relevant information and documents

Summary of Responsibilities

• Conduct outlet briefings
• Ensure that outlet logbooks are up to date
• Ensure colleagues' grooming standard are being met and maintained to demonstrate a professional image for our guests
• Establish and maintain a monthly training plan according to the standards required
• Respond proactively to guest queries and to ensure appropriate action is taken in the absence of the manager
• Guide the operations to ensure that guest satisfaction is monitored and where appropriate, rectified
• Ensure that the restaurant is staffed according to operational needs at all times
• Assist the manager in liaising with other departments to ensure that outlet features are in good and clean condition
• Ensure that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times
• Handle all guests’ requests and complaints politely, promptly and professionally

Job Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years of F&B experience in a same capacity in international luxury hotel groups
• Able to do shifts and work on weekends, 5 day work week
• Service-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast pace environment

Job Responsibilities
• Responsible for handling food and beverage orders and serving guests.
• Provide friendly, excellent service to all guests.
• Assist fellow Team Members to perform preparation and setting up in the restaurants for food service and ensure all available amenities and utensils are properly stocked and inspected prior to service.
• Assist guests on their respective requests, conduct suggestive and up-selling, well-versed in all aspects of the menu.
• Handling all restaurant telephone and email reservation enquiries.
• All other administrative duties in the restaurant

Job Requirements
• Minimum Secondary school education with ‘O’ Level passes; Diploma in any field is an advantage
• Minimum 1 year in a guest service / guest contact roles, preferably in a hospitality organization
• Possess food hygiene and safety certification
• Willing and able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Possess a well-groomed, professional appearance
