This role is to service and repair material handling equipment and provide good customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Description

• Analyse, diagnose and rectify issues on material handling equipment.

• Carry out electrical, electrical and hydraulic repairs on equipment and components.

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenances.

• Perform modification, commissioning works.

• Communicate and attend to site customer’s request.

• Communicate well with internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Undertake Supervisor’s Instruction

• Perform stock take

• Provide support and guide new colleagues

• Attend trainings

Requirements

• Strong Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic knowledge

• Good computer skills

• Able to speak and write English for handling English speaking people

• Possess valid class 3C driving license ( drive Van )

• Possess customer service mind-set

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Automotive

• At least 2 years’ experience in the technical field such as MHE, cranes, marine equipment, industrial vehicles.

• Able to work on one’s own

• Willing to take on jobs outside normal working hours

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide assistance, knowledge and user support in all aspects of IT .

• Technical support to Desktop, Local Area Network (LAN\WiFi) and all business applications.

• Install standard business desktop/laptop Images to an agreed standard.

• Configure and install appropriate hardware/software to the user’s desktop in a professional manner and timescale in order to meet business needs.

• Provide basic hardware/software configuration, fault finding and problem resolution.

• Provide video and audio-conferencing system support to end users

• Manage incidents and requests from customers.

Job Requirements

• Have a basic understanding of the desktop and LAN\WiFi\WAN technical domains, involving familiarity with a wide range of environmental components and support tools.

• Good knowledge of computer hardware, Windows and Mac operating systems, and software applications

• Good understanding of mobile/smart devices, Android, and iOS

• Good working knowledge of video conferencing platforms, Zoom, BlueJeans, Skype for Business

• Good working knowledge and experience in managing Office365 and Azure

Job Responsibilities:

• Book trades into the trade capture systems and manage the trade matching and clearing processes, MarkitWire skillset a must.
• Assist sales and execution teams with trade booking as required.
• Oversee day-to-day trade processing, matching, clearing, unwinds, netting and confirmations.
• Manage and resolve exceptions, fails and settlement issues.
• Carry out checks and controls, intraday and EOD. Communicate EOD status to the group.
• Liaise with Caventor teams, internal BGC teams, clients, banks and service providers as required.
• Support sales and execution teams as required with requests and queries.
• Carry out project and development tasks as required.
• Assist with the global counterparty onboarding process.
  • Oversee progress internally within BGC and with clients/banks and chase as required.
  • Update the shared status documents for internal Caventor use.

Job Requirements:

• 2 years experience in a similar role, ideally from a hedge fund manager.
• Good product knowledge and day to day processing of interest rate swaps, bonds, futures is essential with FX being useful.
• Knowledge of market risk of trades and P&L a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel & VBA a major plus.
• High level of attention to detail and “completer finisher” mentality.
• High level of multi-tasking and prioritization.
• Needs to be a self-starter and able to work independently.
