Job Summary
Join a leading global company and play a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting the hardware and systems of the Seamless Identity Management Platform for Experience (SIMPLE) system. You'll be part of a fast paced talented team ensuring the system's availability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities
Field Support: Provide Corrective Maintenance (CM) for hardware and software issues to restore system operations.
Field Testing: Conduct software testing for bug fixes and ensure correct system configurations before production.
Spares Services: Manage and maintain spares, support equipment, and tools, ensuring their serviceability and prompt fault rectification.
Preventive Maintenance (PM): Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, following approved checklists, and submit detailed reports.
Calibration Services: Coordinate with vendors for test equipment calibration.
Requirements
Shift Work: 3 shifts of 8 hours, 24x7 operation (Standby hours included—our client prioritizes employee well-being).
The service will be carried out during the following intervention periods:
Engineers will work a rotating schedule of 3 days on, 2 days off, followed by 2 days on, 3 days off. This alternating pattern ensures consistent coverage while providing engineers with ample rest and recovery time.
Standby Duty: Engineers will be required to participate in standby duty as per project demands, which will vary depending on the project phase (MVP or Expansion). The frequency and duration of standby duty will be communicated in advance.
The standby would be a benefits for engineer to rest, usually activation is very rarely. Usually standby would be one engineer on one month after 4 months of working (ony apply to MVP) while under expansion, each engineer will only be standby for 1 week after working for 4 months.
Skills & Experience:
- 1-2 years supporting network, security, server, and UPS systems
- 1-2 years supporting mission-critical systems with a stringent SLA of 99.9%
- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) standards
- Customer-oriented with excellent service attitude
- Strong analytical and listening skills
- Positive attitude, hardworking, and enthusiastic
- Experience with Server/Network/UPS/Security products (e.g., Firewall, PIM and PAM, Server Virtualization) is a plus
- Team player who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Education
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT/Engineering discipline
