Job description

1. Perform research in the following areas relating to coastal protection and adaptation to climate change:

· Wave attenuation over mangroves, seagrasses and coral reefs

· Feasibility of floating wetlands

2. Conduct literature review, field surveys and liaise with relevant government agencies to establish configurations of coastal vegetation/coral which are representative of those commonly found in Singapore.

Roles & Responsibilities

● Be part of our customer service executives interacting with our customers for the deal-making process (facilitating negotiations for buying or selling steel material);

● Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure pleasant customer experience (e.g. operations, logistics, finance, etc.)

● Address any queries from our customers via the chat system.

● Escalate any key issues raised by customers during the deal-making process.

● Contribute towards customer service readiness when preparing to launch in new countries.

● Achieve key performance metrics (e.g. response time, customer satisfaction, etc.)

● To handle cold calling to find new customers and new leads

● To be able to visit the yard and site when needed

● Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements

● Min. GCE ‘O’ levels

● 1 - 2 years of experience in customer service for a commercially launched product.

● High levels of ownership and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers.

● Problem-solving skills to ensure customers have the best experience during the deal-making process.

● Experienced in at least one of the following areas: customer service software, marketplace platform, dealmaking is a plus.

This role reports to the Finance Director in order to accomplish all accounting tasks in a timely and accurate manner.

· Manage full set of accounts, financial statements, monthly reports, service delivery orders and online payment

· Monitor and maintain daily accounting transactions including Accounts Receivables (AR) / Accounts Payables (AP)

· Ensure timely billing to stakeholders and compliance with AR & AP procedures by generating and raising invoices, debit, and credit notes

· Update AR and AP transactions using AutoCount Accounting

· Generate SOA for outstanding invoices

· Prepare cashflow forecast and audit schedules

· Assist in any ad-hoc assignments from Finance Department and Management

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing instrumentation and data acquisition solutions and systems to be deployed on site, ensuring that the solutions are reliable and scalable. The candidate will also be responsible for developing and maintaining documentation for solutions, including design specifications and test plans. The successful candidate will be expected to have strong problem-solving skills and be able to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor degree / Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science or any other related field

· Hands-on implementation experience in instrumentation and data acquisition

· Experience in the domain area / technology / programming languages and Communication/Data protocols

· Experience in code management and deployment
