Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Marine Spare Parts & Machinery Supplier
• Position Title: Marine Service Engineer
• Working Location: West – Gul Circle
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon-Fri: 8 am-6 pm, every Sat: 8 am-1 pm)
• Salary Package: Up to SGD 5000 + Bonus + On-site allowance
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• In-charge of repair / service sales division
• Main Engine & aux engine repair, pumps, compressors, purifier and hydraulic at shipyard, working anchorage, OPL, follow voyage, PSA & Jurong port (ship owner, ship manager / Shipyard – DDW Pax ocean, ST Marine, Keppel / Industry – sewage treatment, Jurong & Kranji / Spares & equipment supplier / Engineer solution)
• Prepare & submit repair /service quotation to customer
• Get quotation from repairer
• Co-ordinate and arrange internal and external service team
• Co-ordinate between customer, agent & vessel for dispatching our teams to go onboard vessel to carry out repair/servicing job and or pre-work inspection
• Follow up with customer on status of our offer
• Co-ordinate with repairer & customer for any claims, dispute or complaint on work done or supply
• Prepare & submit inspection / service report to customer in accordance with ISO requirement & standard, filing of report is part of the job scope as per requirement
• Update & submit, sales report - quotation, enquiry against actual sale statistic report by weekly, monthly & yearly
• Co-ordinate between the sales team & production / service team for reconditioning work of stock item
• Coard vessel to meet Capt / Chief engineer for service & spares sales call & inspection in due course
• Carry out risk assessment for each service and observe safe work practice and regulations onboard vessels & in the workshop is part of the job responsibilities

Role: IT Support L2

Duration: Part -Time

Monthly : 3-4 times ( 3-4 hours support at a time)

Job description:

• 3-5 years of experience as an IT support specialist.
• Ability to provide technical support and resolve queries.
• In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
• Proficiency in IT helpdesk software
• Advanced knowledge of database maintenance and system security.
• Provide Ad -hoc IT support as per need

Key Responsibilities

· Primary responsibility is responding to application incident tickets, investigate thoroughly and ensure closure within the agreed SLA.

· Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application-related issues reported by Users, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on productivity.

· To conduct root cause analysis, with help of L3, of an issue and prevent the same issue from happening in the future.

· Documenting the solutions and workarounds for future reference in knowledge DB.

· Collaborate with various teams, including developers and infrastructure engineers to resolve complex issues and implement long term solutions.

· Assist in L2 operational tasks as part of day-to-day support.

· Escalate critical and unresolved issues to higher level support teams and actively follow up on the progress until the problem is resolved.

· Report status and progress to technical lead/incident manager on a regular basis.

· Work with the technical lead/manager to ensure the technical support provided to stakeholders is within the agreed SLA (24 x 7)

· Maintain a positive mindset to provide continuous support and the application of tools for monitoring, management, and optimization of support.

• Support projects go-live implementation.

· Provide after office hours support where required.

· Support application testing investigations in testing environments.

· Support annual industry testing, testing regulatory requirements, VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment Pen Test), APT (Application Pen Test), APIPT (API Pen Test) in testing environments and production environments.

· Assist in deploying applications to testing and production environments.

· Perform standby duty (24x7) on rotational basis.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science / engineering or its equivalent

· Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

· Technically sound with at least 5 years hands-on experience in supporting Java, J2EE/JEE, Oracle, SQL/ PLSQL, Jasper report, APIs (RESTful and SOAP) and/or XML. Basic understanding of Linux/ Windows / Solaris OS is required.

· Knowledge in RHEL shell scripting, RedHat Ansible is an added advantage.

· Experience in SpringBoot / SpringBatch is an added advantage.

· Experience in AWS services such as CloudWatch, S3, RDS, EKS, API GW & EC2 is a definite plus.

· Domain knowledge of Financial Clearing and Payment Systems and ISO20022 standard is a plus.

· Good analytical and problem-solving skills

· Good oral and written communication skills

· Ability to work under pressure and to oversee tight SLAs.

· Self-motivated, self-starter and quick learner with ability to work independently and within a team.

You will play an important part in ensuring our patients' comfort. To do that you will need to work together with your colleagues in the clinic, be meticulous to ensure treatment rooms are fully prepared (clean and stocked, equipment is sterilised, etc), and treat patients with empathy and care while working side by side with the dental surgeon in the treatment room.

We are looking for someone who is pro-active and willing to do whatever it takes to ensure the clinic runs smoothly. It's a 5-day work week, but you should also be willing to work on weekends and evenings.

Things you need to do:

• Assists the dentist during the dental treatment;
• Maintains and ensures cleanliness of all dental equipments;
• Ensures high standard of infection control;
• Informs and assists to order the dental supplies when the supplies are low in stock;
• Performs clinic reception duties such as keeping patients’ records and fixing appointments for the patients;
• Handles telephone enquiries and bookings for the patients;
• Arranges and informs the patients for appointments and remind them for follow-up treatments;
• Performs any other duties that may be assigned to him/ her.

Things you need to have:

• Minimum ‘N’/ ‘O’ Levels or equivalent
• Good Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Preferably able to speak Mandarin in order to liaise with and assist Mandarin-speaking patients accordingly
• Willing to work on Weekends and evenings
• Experience in dental industry will be advantageous, candidates with no experience are welcome to apply
