• Maintain strict cost control of the Annual Operating Budget for each of the assigned vessels.

• Monitor the requisitions generated from the vessel to ensure that they are submitted in a timely manner. Follow up with the Purchasing Department for delivery of ordered items on board.

• Liaise with the Insurance Manager (or Principals) in H&M claims handling. Provide technical input, and cost information, if required, for P&I claims (cargo and crew) and H&M claims.

Crewing

• Make performance evaluations of Masters/ Chief Engineers assigned to the vessel under supervision.
• Provide input to the Manning Department on recruitment of Senior Officers for the assigned vessels.

Dry Docking & Repairs

• Plan, manage, monitor and execute vessels repairs, dry dockings and conversions within agreed budgets.
• Arrange and follow up repairs and services.
• Coordinate with the assigned vessels and prepare the dry docking specification in conjunction with Docking Superintendent, Fleet Services. Submit the specification to yards for quotations, evaluate the received quotations and present them to the Fleet Group Manager and/or Chief Operating Officer for review.
• Attend the dry-docking, discuss shipyard invoicing before presenting same to the Fleet Group Manager and/or Chief Operating Officer for approval.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum degree
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in purchasing related role in a government agency

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will be a part of leading and building our complex and ambitious “Associate to Consultant” (A2C) Program. You will be responsible for providing training, coaching, and mentoring to develop your team into productive, customer-facing technical consultants.

Associate Consultants in the practice may include specialists in Infrastructure, Application Development, DevOps, Data Analytics and Security. Achieving success will require coordination across many internal AWS teams and external AWS Partners, with impact and visibility at the highest levels of the company.

You’ll need to make prioritization calls across the enterprise that require both keen business and technical judgment, and will also drive processes and execution goals.

A day in the life
You will be based in Singapore. Key job responsibilities include:

Designing and implementing training programs to focus and accelerate consultant development.

Defining and delivering on-site technical engagements with partners and customers. This will include participating in on-site visits, mapping customer business and technical requirements, and guiding your team of Associate consultants to deliver.

Driving high team utilization on customer engagements including working with customers and AWS Partners to discover requirements.

Basic qualifications

• 7+ years of IT implementation experience with 1+ years in a leadership/technical lead role
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Duties

• To market the company range of services to customers in the Asia Pacific Region and to assist the formulation of marketing strategies to achieve sales targets allocated. 
• To work on the preparation of quotes/proposals/agreements and contract liaison with customers on quotes/proposals approval and negotiate final terms and conditions with customers to be provided. 
• To assist the Marketing Manager/Director in the preparation of annual sales and marketing expenses budget. 
• To achieve sales targets as well as Department PO2 targets. (CIP, HSE included) 
• Implement prevention programmes within their activities, ensuring their team members remain informed and play an active role in contributing to HSE development, and seeing that all actions taken help to achieve improvement objectives.
• Assist in preparation of responses to RFPs from the Global Sales Teams and Customers outside of APAC. 
• To manage our Business Partners and ensure Trade Compliance requirements and processes are done and met. 
• Any other duties as assigned.
