The Customer Service Specialist helps our customers in the early adoption phase, reducing and removing adoption pains. Your success is culminated in a complete phase-out of manual features to the fully digital offering.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be responsible for ensuring the satisfaction and success of our customers by providing exceptional support and service. As a primary point of contact for our Japanese customers’ operations, you will work closely with them to understand their adoption pains, and to ease them in recurring usage as soon as possible.

You will play these Key Functions:

• Manage customer accounts, including onboarding new customers, providing ongoing support to ensure customers smooth adoption & recurring usage
• Coordinate between the customer and vendor, conduct daily operations and deliver a customer-centric experience across all channels including phone calls and emails
• Actively engage in refining customer experience through regular customer feedbacks from conducting of daily operations
• Identify & report gaps, challenges, variations and differentiations between manual operations and digital applications
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their success and satisfaction with our products and services
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Provide timely and effective resolution to customer issues and inquiries, escalating issues as necessary

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Must-Have Business Japanese proficiency (include speaking, reading, writing) - essential to liaise with Japanese customers
• Possess 5-8 years experience in liaising with Japanese business customers
• Possess a Degree or Professional Certificate relating to Japanese Language
• Experience in maritime operations (e.g. ship-owner/operator)
• Proficient in handling B2B technology & software application/platform
• May be required to respond to customers queries during Japan business hours
• Excellent communication & persuasion skills with a customer-centric orientation
• Self-motivated, patient, and a fast learner with tremendously positive attitude
• Adaptive, flexible, and a flair to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Ability to think comprehensively and solve problems

Working Days & Hours: 5 days across Monday – Sunday, Up to 44 hours per week. (11am - 8pm/ 12pm - 9pm)
Location: Newton/ Chinatown

Contract: yearly renewable based on business needs and individual performance

• Conduct survey interviews via outbound calls and field visits to collect timely and reliable data
• Handle incoming hotline and mailbox enquiries to resolve respondents’ issues
• Compile, record, input survey returns and data accurately into the system
• Conduct data verification of completed survey cases to ensure accuracy and reliability of data
• Establish and maintain relationship with respondents throughout the project period
• Ensure that the given KPI are being met based on the project timeline
• Provide status report to the supervisor

Requirements:
• Atleast A levels or Diploma

• Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
• Experience with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) preferred
• Excellent customer service skills

• Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 6.00pm
• Handle mailbox survey submissions, feedback, and requests from survey respondents within stipulated turnaround time.
• Ensure consistent and detail cases notes updated in system after each liaison with respondents.
• Responsible for inter-department liaison for correct assignment of respondents to the parties responsible.
• Ensure prompt follow-up for survey cases under pending status.
• Provides accurate daily report on mailboxes activities for the day to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensuring all potential/actual complains are acted upon within stipulate timeline.

Requirements:

• Singaporean
• At least Diploma or above
• At least 2 years of relevant customer service and emailing experience
