Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets for our interior products and services.

• Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, designers, and contractors to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Sales Pipeline Management: Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up, accurate forecasting, and efficient conversion of leads into sales.
• Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with our product offerings, market trends, and competitors to effectively communicate the value of our products to clients.
• Customer Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities, target markets, and emerging trends in the interior design industry.
• Reporting: Generate sales reports, analyze data, and present findings to senior management to make informed business decisions.

This position reports to the director of CHEVALIER CAPITAL PTE. LTD. We are a marketing management group that partners with lifestyle brands to go global. The Sales & Marketing Manager will take responsibility for the sales activities, plan and analyze sales levels and profitability, also responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating all marketing strategies for the company, also assist in the development and implementation of sales strategy and marketing plans.

Individual to be involved in:

4.Actively following up & maintaining the after-sales relationship with clients

Roles & Responsibilities
• Supplier Relationship Management: Is the Go-To person for any new business evaluations, develops and sustains relationships with the contract manufacturers.

• Contract Manufacturer Selection: Source and evaluate potential contract manufacturers based on their capabilities, capacity, cost competitiveness and alignment with ASMPT’s strategic objectives.

• Contract Negotiations: Prepare and negotiate strategic vendor contracts for long term partnership to deliver business needs (e.g., capacity assurance, pricing, quality, inventory etc.)

• Capacity / Production Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional ASMPT S&OP teams and CMs to develop production schedules that meet inventory, lead-time, and delivery requirements. Align S&OP plans between ASMPT & CM; collaborate to de-escalate capacity or supply risks if any. Plan for provisions in CM capacity surge to support ramp cycles.
• Qualification: Establish stringent qualification plan with QA for CMs to ensure CMs meet ASMPT’s standards (training, copy-exact transfer, FAI and PPAP).
• Quality Assurance: Establish quality control processes with QA and ensure CMs’ adhere to strict quality, safety, trade, legal and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Performance Management: Establish & implement KPIs and metrics to assess the performance of CMs, regularly reviewing performance, taking corrective actions as necessary.
• Continuous Improvement: Track production unit costs, support CMs on process and cost efficiency improvements while maintaining high quality standards.
• Change Management: Advocate clear change management process to govern, track and qualify all changes made to the form, fit and function of the product.
• Project Management: Coordinate across various internal and external stakeholders to align and progress per plan to achieve the desired outcomes. Escalate and mitigate business critical risks.
• Industry Knowledge: Stays abreast with industry and policy changes and identifies implications and opportunities for his/her area of contract manufacturing.
• Business Planning: Participates in annual business planning process, provides monthly estimated actual on projected and actual spending, maintains a multiyear capital plan/budget.

Requirements
• Tertiary qualifications (Bachelor’s) in supply chain mgmt., engineering, business, or related fields
• >10 years of experience in commercial/business AND manufacturing (ops, quality, technology, planning) function required. Proven leadership experience in leading technical/resident engineers
• Experience in External and Contract Manufacturing, Supply Chain Processes & Quality Management. Proficiency in Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic Drawings is a plus.
• Experience in capital equipment contract manufacturing highly desirable, particularly dealing with contract management, operation/delivery management and quality management.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills; mature, pleasant, and highly energetic personality.
• Analytical mindset with ability to make data-driven decisions and problem solve.
• Willingness to travel within SEA, East Asia to visit CMs and any other countries as needed.
