Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on DF engines and other marine propulsion systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot engine issues to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical support and expertise to clients, ensuring optimal engine performance.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement maintenance strategies.
• Prepare detailed service reports and documentation for all completed work.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all service activities.
• Travel to client sites as required to perform on-site maintenance and repairs.

• At least a Diploma in Marine & Offshore Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in engine repairs and maintenance, preferably within the marine industry.
• Experience with DF engines is highly preferred.
• Able to travel to client sites as needed, sometimes on short notice.
• The position requires flexibility in working hours, as the engineer must be on standby 24/7 to respond to client calls.
• Ability to work in varying environments and under pressure to resolve issues promptly.

Job Description

• Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and servicing of air compressors to ensure proper functionality and avoid breakdowns.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults at customer’s site.
• Repair or replace damaged parts, such as valves, pistons, motors, and filters, to ensure the compressor operates efficiently.
• Maintain records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and parts replaced, and report on the system’s operational status.
• Advise users about general operations and maintenance requirements.

Job Requirement

• Possess a Class 3 driving license is an advantage
• With related experience in servicing industrial machinery
• With electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Have basic computer knowledge in preparing report
