JOB SUMMARY

Being the first impression of all guests at the Driveway, the Door Service Agent shall assist guests at the Hotel’s Forecourt. Co-ordinate with the Bell Service Agents in loading and unloading of the guest’s luggage from their cars / taxi but primarily to open their doors and offer parking spaces when appropriate. Co-ordinate with valet service associates in parking guest’s car.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assisting guests and patrons by opening of car doors for guest and patrons at all times. Greeting guests with the right verbiage and to be warm and friendly at all times.

2. Communicate with Bell Service Agents for luggage assistance and escorting guests to Front Desk.

3. Ensure all ‘No Parking Zones’ are cleared to ensure smooth flow of traffic. Ensure the traffic at the hotel’s Forecourt is clear at all times with no congestion.

4. Ensure that there is always taxis available for guests’ usage.

5. Ensure all Valet tickets are issued and recorded by running serial order without exceptions. Ensure all payments received for Valet to be handed over to Front Desk for proper tracking.

6. Attend daily briefing and 15 minutes training.

7. Understanding hotel’s safety features and procedures.

8. Provide general information, places of interest / directions, and hotel’s information to guest.

9. Report any incident/s to Front Office Managers and Bell Captain on duty.

10. Maintain the condition and cleanliness of the hotel’s Forecourt at all times.

11. Maintain the condition and cleanliness of the Marriott and Singapore’s Flag and report abnormalities to Bell Captain and Front Office Managers.

13. Cash/Bank Handling

- Process all payment methods in accordance with Accounting procedures and
policies.

discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.

- Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies, obtaining change required for expected business level, and keeping bank secure at all times.

- Transport bank to/from assigned workstation, following security procedures.

- Set up and organize cashier workstation with designated supplies, forms, and
resource materials; and maintain cleanliness of workstation at all times.

14. To ensure and follow established procedures and compliance as per LSOP guidelines.

15. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Limits Management

• Maintenance of Cash position in all auxiliary Services – ATM/CDM
• Escalate in the event of breaching branch cash holding limits to Branch Manager. Inform also via email the Head, Branch Operations and provide reasons / justifications on the breach
• Raise RMS for change of transaction limits when necessary (e.g. upgrade from CL5 to CL4)

Approvals, Controls & Reconciliations

• Ensure dual control operation of the Cash Vault/ATM/CDM
• Granting transaction approval and overrides for all CER/ Senior CER within delegation limit
• Approve movement of cash to and from vault with Senior CER under dual control and confirm denomination and value input in eBranch System
• Approve cash indent and return to MAS/Battery Road Branch via CISCO
• Perform Surprise Cash Checks at a pre-determined frequency
• Daily reconciliation of physical cash in Vault/ATM/CDM with - Senior CER under dual control
• Perform daily checks (random sample of 5% or 5, whichever is lower) on signature verification, transaction validation and technical details for each CER/ Senior CER’s Debit transactions within the CER/ Senior CER’s limit and sign off on the vouchers as evidence of checks.

Management of Service Delivery

• Ensure clients are being served within stipulated standard (refer to scorecard)
• Assist clients in queries; handling feedbacks, complaints that are escalated by CER/Sales staff which includes escalated exceptional investigations and queries and liaising with other functions/department

Referrals

• Generate new sales opportunities by proactively referring client with banking needs to respective Sales Staff for cross-selling & upselling, (except insurance and investment)
• To activate, educate & direct clients to utilise digital/self service terminal (SST) channels

Compliance / Operational Risk

• Dual Control to be observed at all times
• To comply with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures and in particular, report any suspicious activity to the Line Manager & Transaction Monitoring Unit.

Job Responsible:

• To assist in the overall management and technical operations of the Marine Fleet that includes preparation, review and management of all technical documentation, vessel certificates, maintenance and compliance records and etc
• Providing the necessary administrative support and coordination for any vessel inspections, repairs and docking works
• Assist in liaising with customers on technical and operational matters that inclusive of vessel performance etc
• Attending to vessel docking, repairs and surveys when required and carry out supervision on any contractors’ repair/maintenance works on board the vessel
• Monitoring the technical status of vessel in term of Class certificates and surveys and ensure that all statutory certificates, equipment certificates etc are properly maintained, documented and up to date
• To identify and source for technical and operational supplies required for the vessel’s need. Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery to the vessels
• Monitoring and controlling of the vessels consumables to prevent unnecessary wastage
• To keep track of the vessels LSA, FFA, cargo hoses and lifting gears registry and PPE of all shipboard personnel
• Appointed as safety committee member to carry out tool-box meetings for all vessels and attend to vessel inspections
• To work closely with the HSE team to ensure the smooth implementation and compliance of company’s safety and quality standards
• To assist in investigating any defects/failures occurred and reporting all vessel incidents, near misses to prevent and eliminate any potential incidents
• To assist in maintaining crew records that inclusive of certifications, training, medical checks and coordinating in crew changes
