About the Team

The success of TikTok's data business model hinges on the supply of a large volume of high quality labeled data that will grow exponentially as our business scales up. However, the current cost of data labeling is excessively high. The Data Solutions team is built to understand data strategically at scale for all Global Business Solution (GBS) business needs. About the Role

We're looking for a highly capable Data Solutions Manager to build the next generation of data solutions in support of industry leading products and services in the space of Monetization and Integrity that TikTok provides. Data System Development

o Design and construct ROI-oriented data systems to evaluate activity effectiveness and optimize operational costs.

o Establish business intelligence (BI) dashboards to visualize core metrics for decision- making.

o Perform detailed user segmentation based on demographics, behaviour, and risk appetite.

Competitor Analysis

o Utilize advanced tools (e.g., web crawlers) to gather market data, including transaction volumes, liquidity, and capital flows.

o Create comparative analyses to monitor market share trends and competitive positioning.

Data Governance and Collaboration

o Partner with data warehousing teams to ensure business-aligned data structure and governance.

o Define data set specifications and manage permission hierarchies.

Cross-functional Support

o Provide data insights for product development, including new feature assessments and pain-point resolutions.

o Collaborate with marketing, operations, and other teams to optimize performance indicators.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
• Min 8 years of experience in Data Analytics and proven track record in cross functional team support
• Experience in using Business Intelligence tools are essential.
• Experience with relational databases and source control tools is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively on the trading floor under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, analytical skills, and a dependable work ethic.

Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: IT / Software
• Position Title: Data Center Engineer
• Working Location: Boon Lay
• Working Hours: 5 days, Mon – Fri (Morning Shift 6 AM – 2 PM / Afternoon Shift 2 PM – 10 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $5,000 + AWS + Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform periodic walk-through, validation of equipment status, amber lights check, etc.
• Review work order requests in the queue and respond to semi-routine work orders by adhering to commitment times.
• Escalate and expedite orders to appropriate teams upon standard operating procedures.
• Rack and stack semi-routine customer equipment tickets.
• Support datacenter standard operating cross-connect work order requests.
• Support standard operating testing and standard operating installations of customer assets.
• Support standard operating procedures of layer 1 cross-connect certification testing.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
