We are seeking a skilled AWS Data Engineer to join our team and support our data initiatives within the Singapore Public Sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ETL processes, data loading, and data management using AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end data loading using AWS Glue and Lake Formation.
• Develop and manage ETL workflows using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, PySpark, and Python scripts.
• Load data into AWS RDS and manage data storage in S3 Buckets.
• Provide data for BI reporting using Tableau, leveraging data from S3 Buckets and RDS.
• Implement and manage AIML workflows in AWS using SageMaker, including model building and deployment.
• Utilize AWS Bedrock for advanced data processing and analytics (knowledge and experience with AWS Bedrock is a plus).
• Install and configure native AWS services as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience with AWS Glue, Lake Formation, Lambda, Step Functions, PySpark, and Python.
• Strong understanding of AWS RDS, S3 Buckets, and data management best practices.
• Experience with BI reporting tools, particularly Tableau.
• Familiarity with AIML workflows and model building using AWS SageMaker.
• Knowledge of AWS Bedrock is a plus.
• Experience with the installation and configuration of AWS native services is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working within the public sector.
• AWS certifications related to data engineering and machine learning.

Job Description:

• Contribute to IT initiatives for Antaes Asia clients.
• Delivery of comprehensive business analysis to provide solutions for business needs.
• Work with the project team including product owner, senior developers, architects, BA’s to deliver business requirements and improve business processes and systems.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define requirement and various artifacts around application development or enhancement.
• Specification of business rules for regulatory reporting, business operations and transformations.
• Functional design and testing of solutions.
• Maintenance and promotion of best practices around the data dictionary of the bank.
• Interaction with developers to define implementation specs
• Interaction with other IT teams to explain and communicate on Data services
• Assisting with the daily operations through Scrum, Jira and Kanban, techniques.
• Contribute to the promotion of Antaes services on top of assistance provided to clients.

Job Requirements:

• At least Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, Science (Computer Studies) or related Finance fields.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience (Data Solutions)
• Strong communication to bring consensus on requirements.
• Functional knowledge of financial products, capital market processes & regulatory reporting.
• Knowledge on the MIFID2/SFTR/EMIR / any APAC transaction regulatory reporting principles is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to think out of box.
• Excellent communications and proven documentation capabilities.
• Skilled in Data analysis using database queries (SQL/Oracle/Sybase), TSQL.
