Responsible for application design, enhancements and overall end-to-end functionality of our clients' analytics systems.

You will be part of the team to:

• Transform requirements into architecture and bluepint for the solution being created. Conversion that is based on several factors: previous successful design patterns, reference architectures and enterprise architecture guidance.
• Provide technology perspective to business to help guide roadmap and prioritisation by keeping abreast with industry trends. Where required, help business size the complexity of problem, simplify and define MVP

• Document and manage how multiple applications are poised to work together. Being involved in defining the interaction between application packages, databases, and middleware systems in terms of functional coverage.
• Generate migration plans for systems which are at the end of the software lifecycle of which have inherent technological risks

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (or equivalent technical degree)
• Minimum 8 years in development and delivery experience in Big Data and cloud platforms, 5 years in solution architecture role preferred
• Relevant industry experience on cloud/hybrid-cloud platforms would be favorably considered
• Certifications in big data / cloud platform are preferred
• Programming skills : Python, PySpark, Core Java, C/C++, shell scripting
• Fundamental knowledge of distributed Architectures, SOA, Micro-services, PaaS/IaaS
• Certification in TOGAF, and cloud architectures are preferred
• Experience in using JIRA, Git and/or similar collaborative tools
• Detail-oriented and methodological traits
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
