Skills & Technical Expertise Required:

Netlist to GDSII at block level, Subsystem Level and at Full chip.

Worked on multiple tapeouts on Netlist to GDSII

Hierarchical partitioning and budgeting of block-level subsystems.

Implementation of high performance (HP) cores, low power designs

Node experience upto 3nm,7nm, 10nm, 14nm, 28nm.

Timing Signoff in loop through STA and ECO cycle at block and at interface.

Block level floor planning, power planning and IR drop analysis.

Scan chain reordering / Scan Chain repartitioning

CTS expertise and clock tree constraints creation for meeting specifications

MMMC optimization at Block and Sub-System Level

Timing closure with Crosstalk and AOCV / POCV

TCL scripting to fundamentally understand tool usage.

Mandatory EDA Skills

PnR tools such as Synopsys ICC/ICC2 and/or Cadence Innovus

Job Scope :

- 2D drafting and other documentation.

- Assists Senior Engineer on the following :

• Technical assignments involving basic or applied research or the design and development of hardware products that includes CIP, upgrades, End Of Life (EOL).
• Includes design and evaluation of mechanical and/or electromechanical devices, components or systems.
• Develop, test and document designs for the transport mechanisms, vacuum systems and various process stations, including deposition chambers, substrate heating, cooling, cleaning, etc.

- Participate in the overall detailed product design.

- Participate in design review by providing mechanical design inputs relating to DFM and DFA, etc.

- Prepare and release 3D Solid Models and Engineering drawing while communicating to local vendors to expedite delivery of design parts and assemblies.

- Performs other related duties as assigned..

Requirements:

- Nitec / Diploma in Engineering or equivalent

- 2 – 3 years of relevant experience

- Proficient user of Solidworks

- Knowledge of Orcad

- Experience in Machine Design and familiarity in Design Processes

- Knowledge of ECO release of Engineering quality documentation

- Experience in dynamic electro-mechanical system design and high vacuum design will be an advantage

The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for conceptual / detailed design and will have the opportunity to participate in prototyping, installation, testing and verification of their design. This role requires good technical writing skills to produce documentation for submission to Customers and Clients. The Mechanical Design Engineer will work with a multi-disciplinary team and exposed to interactions with customers, partners, vendors, and sub-contractors.

Job Requirement:

• Well-versed with Solidworks and AutoCAD
• Well-versed with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Able to travel overseas when required
