Responsibilities:

1. Regulatory Compliance:
   • Stay abreast of all relevant regulations, codes of practice, and safety standards related to water heater installations in Singapore.
   • Ensure that Homeone's engineering practices comply with all statutory requirements.
2. Safety Audits and Inspections:
   • Conduct regular technical and safety audits and inspections of work sites, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
   • Identify and address potential safety hazards and risks promptly.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety and work compliance inspections, audits, and compliance documentation.
   • Prepare comprehensive reports for internal use and regulatory authorities.
4. Training and Development:
   • Develop and deliver technical and safety training programs for Homeone staff and licensed contractors.
   • Facilitate ongoing safety education and awareness campaigns within the organization.
5. Quality Assurance:
   • Implement quality assurance measures to ensure that all water heater installations meet or exceed safety and compliance standards.
   • Collaborate with the engineering team to address and rectify any non-compliance issues.
6. Emergency Preparedness:
   • Develop and maintain emergency response plans for water heater installations, ensuring the safety of both workers and occupants.
   • Conduct drills and simulations to test the effectiveness of emergency procedures.
7. Collaboration with Authorities:
   • Submission to PUB, HDB or other authorities.
   • Act as a liaison between Homeone and relevant regulatory bodies, ensuring open communication and alignment with industry standards.
   • Respond to inquiries and participate in regulatory inspections as needed.
8. Continuous Improvement:
   • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety practices and compliance processes.
   • Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to enhance safety performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a PUB Licensed Plumber or an EMA LEW.
• Proven experience in a safety or PUB or EMA compliance role, preferably in the construction or water heater solutions industry.
• Strong understanding of Singapore's safety regulations and codes of practice for plumbing or electrical.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Job Description:

• Performing computer simulations-based analysis using commercial FEA software, Autodesk Moldflow, CFD software or other similar analysis tools
• Developing and coordinating experiments to validate computational models
• Refine simulation models to improve accuracy of predictions. This will involve activities such as refining model inputs (e.g. materials data, machining data), grid sensitivity studies, exploring efficacy of different solvers, etc

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor, Master or PhD‘s Major in relevant Engineering field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in relevant industry
• Experience in using software such as CFD software, Moldex 3D, Autodesk Moldflow or similar software.
• Candidate must be willing to travel for short-term assignments when necessary
• Possess knowledge in the Specialized areas as stated above will be of highly advantaged

• Candidate must have 2 - 3 years of relevant Project experience in Structural Steel Projects for industrial buildings, Auditoriums, High Rise Steel structures, Steel Roofing structures, etc.
• Preference would be given to candidates having previous experience in Structural Steel Industry. Candidates with general project coordination backgrounds will also be considered based on their experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Coordinate with the Sales team, customer, and other internal departments (Purchase, Production, Design, and Logistics) for

successful and timely execution of projects as per schedule.

2. Attend design reviews, BIM Coordination meetings, and work with the internal design team to amend changes. Also, work in

parallel with the costing team to provide Variation Order, if any. Keep track of design changes and Variation orders for ongoing

3. Maintain and update weekly reports and ensure timely submission.

4. Frequently visits the project sites and ensures maximum support is offered at the time of steel erection. Coordinate with the

internal teams to provide immediate solutions in case of any site issues.

5. Coordinate imports, and work with the Client's logistics/Site team to plan the shipments based on the site progress.

6. Extend support to prepare techno-commercial offers in coordination with sales team, purchase, production, Projects, and

finance team based on the customer’s requirements/consultants drawings for new tenders.
