As a standard cell design engineer in the Physical Design Group, you will develop your skills working on some of the most sophisticated process nodes targeting the largest foundries. You will contribute to designing our physical IP standard cell offerings for our internal and external customers at leading edge nodes including 5nm and beyond. Work with partners inside the company, as well as our partners in the EDA and foundry space.

Responsibilities:

· Design standard cell circuits and verify them for functionality, performance, and power

· Generate and validate EDA model views of standard cells

Required Skills and Experience :

· 5+ years of relevant circuit design experience (for BSEE)

· 3+ years of relevant circuit design experience (for MSEE)

· Experience with transistor level circuit design using Cadence Virtuoso and circuit simulators such as SPICE, SPECTRE

· An understanding of transistor level device physics and standard cell layout

· Knowledge of power, performance, and area tradeoffs

· An ability to learn a wide variety of industry standard view and modeling formats such as Liberty, Verilog, LEF, NDM, APL, GDS

· Scripting skills in either Tcl, PERL or Python

As a (Jr.) Structural Engineer you provide designs and analysis for product development, study, tender and commercial T&I projects.

You will have the opportunity to go offshore on our vessels and see your designs and work in action, supporting our fleet with anything that requires a bright technical mind and pro-active attitude.

Daily activities

Your tasks and responsibilities include the following:

• Perform concept and detailed design of offshore lifting arrangements and steel structures, such as lifting appliances, lift points, lift arrangements and grillage and seafastening.
• Perform structural calculations and prepare technical design reports.
• Review structural deliverables (construction reports and drawings).
• Perform quality control on deliverables prepared by colleagues.
• Contribute to a continuously improving and learning organization by i.e. actively sharing knowledge and experience and identifying and providing follow up subjects for improvement.

The (Jr.) Structural Engineer is member of the Technology Department. You will work in a team with other engineers in various disciplines and actively liaise with colleagues in other departments and offices, like procurement, fabrication, and operations.

• The ambition to work (temporarily) offshore on our vessels, overseas or in our other offices.

Job Responsibilities:

· Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers and internal sales team, handling customer NDA and sample request

· Collect customers’ feedback and provide recommendation to customer for design requirements, product enhancements and capture new product opportunities

· Responsible for identifying and clarifying any technical issues related to new or existing products, and clearly communicate findings to the respective business unit

· Hands-on technical support to customers, documenting problems, and suggesting solutions

· Report design, reliability and functional problems to the appropriate groups within company & associate groups and work to solve problems

Requirements:

· Degree in Engineering (Electronics) or equivalent

· 5 years of technical customer support experience in semiconductor industry

· Field experience or hands-on practice or knowledge of multi-disciplinary system design and development

· Knowledge of Smart Card, RFID and microcontroller products; knowledge of physical access control and the security industry is desirable

· Experience with or knowledge of one or more of: CCD, CMOS image sensors, image capture, video standards, image processing
