Job Description

We are looking for a mechanical design engineer with at least 3 years of work experience who will be responsible for creating and developing mechanical systems and components for a food-making robot.
This includes conducting research, designing and drafting plans, testing and evaluating prototypes, and implementing and refining designs based on feedback and performance data. Note that this is a fully on-site role, so remote or hybrid work will not be permitted.

Founded in 2020, Antina is a JV between Starhub Mobile and M1 and is responsible for the rolling out of the 5G Standalone (SA) Radio Access Network (RAN) in Singapore for the two mobile network operators.
The Standalone 5G (SA) RAN is a game-changing ultra-high speed, low-latency network, and one which will enable new use cases across entertainment, cloud gaming, transportation, education and healthcare. 5G is used across three main types of connected services, including enhanced mobile broadband, mission-critical communications, and the massive IoT.

Non-standalone 5G (NSA) was the first stage of 5G, using a new 5G radio (or 5G NR) access network overlaid on an existing 4G LTE network core. Standalone (SA) 5G uses the 5G NR access network on a brand new 5G network core. Both approaches provide value, but many of the most exciting new features and innovative use cases of 5G can only be realized through a standalone 5G network.

Purpose

The primary role of our Operations Engineer is to monitor and maintain 3.5GHz C-Band RAN systems to ensure operational efficiency and continuity for the company’s business.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Carry out 24 x 7 daily monitoring of the 3.5GHz C-Band RAN systems’ faults and alarms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Design & Management:
  Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines to support both real-time and batch processing requirements.
• Workflow Optimization & Monitoring:

Required Skills and Experience:

• Apache Airflow:
  Extensive experience in managing, scheduling, and monitoring data pipelines.
• Apache NiFi:
  Strong experience in designing data flows for ingestion and transformation.
• Apache Kafka:
  In-depth knowledge of Kafka for real-time data streaming and messaging systems.
• PySpark & Spark Scala:
  Proficiency in using PySpark and Spark Scala for large-scale data processing.
• Programming Languages:
  Strong experience with Python and Java, with additional expertise in shell scripting.
• Big Data Knowledge:
  Familiarity with big data ecosystems and distributed data processing.
• Problem-Solving & Teamwork:

Educational Qualifications:

• Required:
  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud Experience:
  Experience in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) with big data components.
• Version Control & CI/CD:
  Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices in data engineering.
• Analytical & Communication Skills:
  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Education / Experience:

o Diploma / Degree In Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field

Job Description:

o To provide 1st level on-site support on organization end user operations

o Understanding complex technical issues and managing them within a fast-paced business environment

o Maintain, manage, administer, support and operate VMware VSphere and VMware Horizon VDI environments and applications

o Perform daily VMware VSphere and VMware Horizon VDI administration tasks including maintenance and upgrades, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
