Job Description

In 2021 the Singapore Hybrid-Integrated Next-Generation micro-Electronics (SHINE) Center was established.

One of the projects in SHINE focuses on developing the technology and demonstrating Radio Frequency (RF) and microwave applications on flexible substrates.

As part of this project, we have a position for a research engineer with proven knowledge and experience in researching, designing, and testing of microwave circuits and subsystems.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in the simulation and design of microwave circuits and subsystems.
• Experience with tools such as ADS and HFSS.
• Experience with measurement of microwave circuits using VNAs.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Open to fixed-term contract.

• Build blazing fast page speeds
• Build reusable components/primitives
• Delightful user interactions and affordances
• Work with the team to review PR, and make the codebase robust.

Job Requirements

• 5 years experience at tech startups with millions of DAUs
• Solid knowledge of TypeScript, and experience with Next.js, etc.
• Basic backend skills with Node.js, building REST APIs, working with databases
• Knowledge in Bitcoin and mining concepts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

The Job:

• Oversee the work of Process Engineers and Process Supervisors, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Define deliverables for system design and collaborate with clients to understand scope requirements.
• Create or review design documents such as Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Drawings, System Layouts, and Equipment and Instrumentation data sheets according to the Deliverable List.
• Participate in tendering activities including preparation, attending clarification meetings, evaluating proposal submissions, and preparing Tender Recommendation Reports.
• Conduct engineering reviews of vendor documentation to ensure technical scope compliance and completeness.

The Talents:

• Diploma/Degree in Chemical/Environmental Engineering or any technical discipline
• 4 - 7 years of EPC Design Experience, in Cleanrooms/Industrial Projects (Water, Gas, Chemical Systems)
