We are currently seeking a Deputy Director of Residential Life - Dover Campus. The Deputy Director of Residential Life (Campus) oversees operational and pastoral matters for the campus boarding community, reporting to the Director of Residential Life (College) and Head of Campus on each campus. They will maintain and enhance our strong and supportive residential culture of 190 students (Dover) from grades 8 to 12, leading a campus team of residential houseparents, non-residential assistant houseparents and boarding support staff. The Commercial Director is responsible for developing a commercial strategy covering all segments and channels to maximize total revenue and profit performance as well as market share penetration of Conrad Centennial Singapore, owned and managed portfolio in APAC.

This role will drive the planning and execution of the commercial strategy and activity through supporting the Revenue management team, Sales, Catering and Events, Marketing, eCommerce and Public Relations teams, through working effectively with area support teams. F&B commercial activities will be shared responsibilities with the Director of F&B, Director of Operations, GM and the Commercial Director.

The Commercial Director is a role model for the commercial community within the owned and managed portfolio in APAC and develops teams and individuals in these functions whilst being a key business partner to the Hotel General Manager. They support hotels in deriving the most value from Hilton Worldwide Sales teams. The Commercial Directors role is key to seize new opportunities through strong customer relations and works as an ambassador for the company with our Owners and Key Stakeholders.

What will I be doing?

As the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Directly accountable for driving the Top line Budget and Forecast by implementing a commercial strategy and business plan through to execution using the Hilton Worldwide (HWW) Commercial Focus process and all available business tools and intelligence available. Deliver as a minimum the budgeted revenues across all revenue streams, To include but not limited; All Rooms, GC&E, F&B, Leisure and Spa with a control on cost of sale, route to market, channel shift and marketing / Ecommerce opportunities.
• Work with the GM, Finance and Operations Director to ensure profits are maximized in line with TGOP and EBITDA targets set.
• Ensure Business Review Guidelines (current to + 5 years) all Pricing & Rate Quotation Strategies are in place in order to maximize all pricing components of sales and catering opportunities and achieve positive group market share.
• Support various On Property, RDOS’s, and Area Marketing teams in coordinating hotel level marketing, sales and public relations activities. Liaise with regional support and brand teams to provide maximum benefit to hotel performance.
• Support the Cluster Revenue Managers/On Property Revenue Manager and RMCC to establish an optimal mix, review and validate forecasts, develop strategies for different demand periods, and review and approve retail and group pricing strategies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, owners, hotel teams, HWW matrix support teams to ensure commercial benefits of the hotel.
• Presents commercial strategies to Regional Team and key stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Lead marketing consultants to Domino’s international Master Franchisees to influence strong marketing strategies in all markets to grow and protect the brand while providing brand guardrails and principles. Team responsibility is at market/master franchisee level not at store level and therefore must have experience setting strategies, building plans, and ensuring execution while working and influencing at a C-suite level. This individual will report to the VP of International Marketing.

Educating

Leads, educates, and foster long term development of marketing consultants to:

· Educate and consult markets on creating comprehensive marketing strategies based on the “Domino’s way” of doing marketing with a long-term growth in mind.

· Educate markets on the use of the Domino’s Brand Book, focusing strongly on the Global Brand Positioning with the intention to drive brand consistency across the world.

Consulting

Leads the consultation of key DPI accounts with the support of the regional marketing team while:

· Ensure marketing strategy is connected to business strategy and that investments are prioritized accordingly

· Drive increased effectiveness and consistencies of franchisee marketing programs across the region by consulting on the design and optimization of their campaign, advertising, and media strategy.

· Consult with markets in tracking KPIs for critical metrics based on global benchmarks and suggests ways to reach said KPIs

· Consult with Master Franchisees on a robust e-commerce plan, including but not limited to optimization of owned e-commerce platforms (OLO, mobile, app), performance media (display, affiliate, paid social, SEM, and others), and image-driving media (owned, display, social, etc.) working closely with the digital team.
