Our Client is a well-established company in Singapore to serve the semiconductor and electronics industries both local and globally.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct equipment design and development in accordance with customer requirements and internal specifications.
• Serve as the project lead, planning, organizing, and coordinating project meetings to review designs and ensure timelines are met.
• Maintain and manage documentation related to R&D activities, adhering to required standards.
• Track and ensure the Bill of Materials (BOM) is accurate and up to date.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings.
• Initiate Engineering Change Notices (ECN) for design and drawing updates, and oversee the approval process and ECN workflow.
• Provide technical support for process and production teams, supply chain, and QA, including reviewing and troubleshooting designs and drawings.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in semiconductor or automation equipment design.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and techniques.
• Extensive experience in mechanical design using SolidWorks is preferred. Experience with Autodesk/AutoCAD software will be an added advantage.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in material properties.
• Willingness to travel for overseas projects as required.x
