Purpose and Scope

Conceptualize and develop ideas, assess needs of the building(s) of a project according to the business requirements and present it for management ‘s review.

Job Description:

• Collaborate with the design team to develop chip floorplans, clock structures, and power plans.
• Perform physical design tasks from Netlist to GDSII, including placement and routing (P&R), formal verification, and static timing analysis (STA).
• Conduct physical verification (PV) and power integrity analysis to ensure design reliability.
• Optimize designs for power, performance, and area (PPA) while adhering to project requirements.
• Research and implement methodologies for advanced process nodes.
• Develop and maintain automated physical design workflows and tools.
• Ensure designs meet quality and performance standards for tapeout readiness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve physical design issues during development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in digital backend design (5+ years preferred); tapeout experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in TCL, Perl, or Python scripting and EDA tools is an advantage.
• Strong communication, teamwork skills, and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal team in Singapore liaise with customers / consultants on day to day basis
• Preparation of project documents including BQ
• Handling Design & Build projects
• Prepare optimised design solutions for projects
• Prepare Design drawings (Single Line Drawings & layout)
• Prepare design calculations incl voltage drop, short circuit current etc.
• Support multiple M&E projects concurrently
• Lead project meetings and work with team members to achieve the deliverables on-time
• Ensure drawings & documents are well maintained & stored in a timely manner
• Other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2 yrs of relevant hands-on M&E experience in construction industry, LTA projects, mixed development etc
• Need to be familiar with Singapore codes such as SS638 (CP5), SS650, SS555 etc
• Hands-on experience in AutoCAD drawings is preferred
• Familiarity in BIM (Revit / Navisworks) is advantageous
• Having consultancy experience is preferred
• Possess effective organizational and follow-up skills, meticulous
• Good communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner

Requirements:
