• Management of Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) account of overseas customers and domestic customers.
• Generate New Sales & complete responsibility for all assigned NVOCC account for their requirements on all trade lanes and basic follow up calls.
• Active participation in the end-to-end sales process involving proposal/quotation/BAF notice/ Rate Negotiation / Closing spot Ad hoc rates
• Provide FCL & LCL Sea freight quotations to overseas customers and domestic customers.
• Generate Sales for the company under Freight Forwarding Division.
• Ensure timely rate updates and market tendency communication with all parties involved.
• Good regular customer account in hand to secure business .
• Collect market feedback and work closely with Pricing / Procurement Team
• Deal with liner on slot operators around Singapore .
• Offer solution to agent for shipment /space , all matters related to shipment .

Job Requirements:

• Must have in-depth knowledge about the Singapore & Far East market of freight forwarding industry.
• Candidate must have at least 5 years working experience in the field of Logistics & Freight Forwarding / Shipping Company
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• NVOCC is added advantage

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop, implement, and maintain training programs that align with organizational goals and employee development needs
• Work with department heads and managers to assess training needs and design programs to meet those needs
• Schedule and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, ensuring logistical arrangements are in place (e.g., venue booking, equipment, materials)
• Serve as the point of contact for trainers and ensure they have the necessary resources to deliver successful training
• Maintain records of employee training activities and monitor progress to ensure completion and success of training programs
• Collect feedback from trainees and managers to assess the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements
• Oversee and maintain the company’s Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring all training materials are updated and accessible
• Ensure all training complies with industry standards and regulations, and track certification status where applicable
• Assist in budgeting for training programs and track expenses, ensuring cost-effective training solutions. Provide reports on training outcomes and ROI
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and introduce new training methods and technologies to enhance the training experience
