• Supervise a team which supports students with SEN, by identifying relevant services for both academic and non-academic activities
• Lead quality improvement projects, to bridge gaps identified in student case management and support services

Requirements:

• A good degree from a recognised University related to special education or educational psychology
• Good working knowledge on different types of disabilities and related support services. Strong ability in case management supervision, planning and administration
• At least 8 years of relevant work experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience working with youth or people with disabilities and supervision of case management. Prior experience in the tertiary education sector will be advantageous
• Support and management of persons with SEN and/or disabilities
• Analytical and conceptual skills, especially in understanding organisational change and making judicious decisions
• Communication, negotiation and influencing skills (written and verbal), especially in working collaborative with university students and colleagues from different cultural and disciplinary backgrounds
• Good organisational skills
• Strong intrinsic motivation for continuous improvement, innovation, and team spirit
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office application software
