What are we looking for?

• Permanent Full-Time Position for a Senior Teacher to support Children with Special Needs.
• Conduct lessons in a specialized small group Early Intervention Program (EIP) setting.
• Create lesson plans and curriculum and track student progress.
• Prepare Individualized Educational Plan goals (IEP) for students, contributing to progress reports.
• Create learning activities, support with classroom supervision and follow-through of learning/behavior plans, support with children's daily living skills (toileting, dressing and mealtime routines).
• Work in collaboration with a multi-professional team of teachers and therapists.
• Maintain student files, attendance forms, visuals and other tasks.
• To liaise with parents to provide support for skill development.
• Previous experience mentoring junior teachers is valued.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum a Diploma in Early Childhood Education / Special Education or related educational fields. A Bachelor's Degree / Master’s degree in Teaching will be of value.
• Experience teaching with children with special needs
• Experience using standardized tools/assessments will be preferred.
• Must be proficient in communicating and writing professionally, in English.
• Salary commensurate with experience and level of qualification.

Working hours: Mon - Fri (830 am - 6pm)

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare schedules for training/education programmes,
• Plan and assign Adult Educators (AE-Trainers)
• Plan and allocate classrooms
• Plan and book for catering - refreshments.
• Ensuring that information boards are up to date.
• Publish and open training cohorts for registration via online platform. \
• Working with clients regarding their preferred schedule.
• Liaising with AEs and Clients regarding trainers’ availability.
• Manage training resources
• Assist in the monthly AE payment report.

Requirements

• Min. diploma
• Good written & verbal Communication skills required to liaise closely with stakeholders.
• Past training admin experience preferred.
• Tech savvy & proficient in Microsoft Office tools
