You will be responsible for influencing/assisting existing or potential customers to find the right education programmes for their children via Skoolopedia.com, one of the leading preschool and enrichment portal in Singapore.

The goal is to promote business growth and share with parents what and how Skoolopedia can do to help parents connect with schools.

The suitable candidate will have the opportunity to learn more about digital marketing and eCommerce. If the fit is right, it is possible to develop into a full time role.

Responsibilities

• Email correspondence to/with schools and parents’ enquiries. May need to follow up with calls to explain or clarify information given.
• Use scripts to provide information about product’s features, prices etc. and present their benefits. Training will be provided.
• Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements
• Persuade the customer to visit schools such as school tours.
• Record the customer’s personal information accurately in a systematic manner.
• Deal with complaints or doubts to safeguard the company’s reputation.
• Keep records of calls and record useful information.

Requirements

• Have the patience to follow up with parents’ childcare/enrichment needs.
• As a parent, you can relate well and connect with parents’ perspectives.
• Proven experience in a customer service role.
• Working knowledge to use Excel and Google Sheets.
• Multi-tasker with excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in English and another language.

Reporting to the Manager, you will be supporting key administrative matters for the learners that would include credit transfers and exemptions, candidature, leave of absence, module registration, tuition fee/grants and appeals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in credits transfer and exemptions, candidature, leave of absence, module registration, and tuition fee/grant-related matters.
• Assist in resolving appeal cases within required timeline.
• Manage related enquiries and communication with all internal and external stakeholders, including our overseas universities partners and learners
• Support in any other administrative matters and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• A-Level qualification/Diploma from a recognised institution
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Good communication skills with a strong command of written English.
• The ability to work independently while demonstrating excellent teamwork.
• A detail-oriented and meticulous approach to tasks.

• Delivering lessons in accordance with StarChamps's curriculum for students between pre-Primary to Secondary level, using various teaching methods to ensure a high quality of learning
• Marking students' work and going the extra mile for weaker students
• Classroom administration
• Completing student progress reports for students each term
• Establishing and maintaining good relationships with students and parents
• Providing term updates to parents on students’ performance and progress

Job Requirements

• A Degree in any discipline (Preferably related to English/Creative Writing
