We're an innovative pediatric therapy center situated in Orchard Road, dedicated to providing comprehensive educational support to individuals with diverse learning needs.
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Learning Support Teacher/ Therapist o join our team. You will work closely with students, parents, and educators to develop and implement personalized learning strategies that address the unique needs of each student.
Job Responsibilities
a) Provide one-to-one or small groups for therapy sessions to school aged children with mild to moderate learning difficulties., specific learning difficulties and/or children with emotional or behavioral concerns.
b) Teaching in all-inclusive approach which includes curriculum, remediation, and cognitive skills training (e.g., memory, Visual skills and Auditory and listening skills etc).
c) Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' learning strengths and challenges.
d) Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) that align with each student’s needs and goals.
e) Ability to arouse and sustain interest /involvement from children through varied activities.
f) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
g) Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
h) Provide guidance and training to educators and parents on effective strategies to support students with learning differences.
i) Ability to participate in and contribute to multi-disciplinary assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation process.

Requirement
- Degree in Psychology / Education (Special Education) or Early Childhood (Special Needs).
- Familiarity with MOE primary/ secondary school curriculum ( subjects include English, Chinese, Maths and Science)
- Able to teach Literacy and Mathematics up to ‘O’ level curriculum.
- Received specific training in literacy and phonics programs e.g., Orton-Gillingham Approach, Lindamood-Bell program, Dyscalculia, and numeracy teaching.
- Experience working with children with developmental and/ or learning difficulties e.g., Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, mild ASD etc.
