Responsibilities
· Provide one-on-one and/or group therapy sessions to address academic challenges.
· Implement evidence-based academic interventions for students with dyslexia and other reading difficulties.
· Develop and teach executive functioning skills to help students improve organization, time management, and study strategies.
· Design and implement interventions focused on teaching children effective learning and academic strategies.
· Provide individual assessment, evaluation, therapy, and management of clients.
· Conduct school or home visits as required.
· Provide written reports, email feedback, goal planning sheets, and home programs.
· Prepare and maintain up-to-date, thorough, and legible documentation of each session with clients.
· Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting therapeutic strategies as needed.
· Establish and maintain regular, good communication/rapport with caregivers and teachers.
· Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
· Stay current with best practices and research in educational therapy and special education.
Qualifications and Traits:
· At least a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology,
· Applicants for Senior position should possess at least 5 years of experience in educational therapy or a similar role.
· Registration with RETA is the Register of Educational Therapists (Asia) is an advantage
· Strong understanding of learning disabilities, developmental disorders, and effective therapeutic interventions.
· Proficiency in evidence-based approaches for children with learning needs
· Experience in teaching executive functioning skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
