Job Description

· The candidate has knowledge on multimedia application and ability to conduct computer training for students.

· The candidate shall work with the HOD ICT to develop a training programme to ensures that students attain proficiency in school-identified baseline ICT skills

· The candidate is able to develop training resources that are required to support training sessions as required by the school

· The candidate has the ability to train students (Primary 1 to 6) on digital literacy and online tools/platforms that can be used for collaboration

· Assist in ICT-related training for staff, and ICT Student Leaders.

· Able to handle and assist in inventory of various AV/IT equipment in various school locations (classrooms, hall, parade square, special rooms etc.) to support various school events/needs •

· Able to set up and manage Public Address (PA) equipment for school functions, e.g. National Day, Awards Day etc; and Zoom Meetings/webinars

· Support in terms of photography & videography, including photo and video editing as assigned by the school

· Archive, manage and organize the school's media collection (photos, videos & documents etc).

· Support school website design & maintenance

Requirements

· Preferably have at least 2 years of teaching & relevant working experience in school environment in the IT field in managing administrative systems.

· Preferably with experience teaching young children/ youths

· Preferably at least a Polytechnic Diploma holder or its equivalent.

· Proficient in MS Office ie. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Job Description

The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT), National University of Singapore is looking for researchers and engineers to develop next generation quantum computers based on trapped ions. There are multiple positions available at different levels with a diverse set of expertise. This program is funded under the National Quantum Processor Initiative, a flagship program under the National Quantum Office Singapore. The aim of the program is to develop a full stack quantum processor based on Yb-Ba ions. This program brings together the unique capabilities of the existing ion trap groups in CQT expertizing on these two-ion species to explore scalability of the system.

The Centre for Quantum Technologies is a pioneering quantum centre in the world offering a diverse research culture at the intersection of three different fields namely, theoretical, experimental Physics and computer science. This program also allows strong collaboration with leading academic and industrial groups within and outside the country.

The team members will work to build hardware for the next generation of the ion trap quantum processor. This includes design and implementation of the modular and compact optical system for the laser beam modulation using acousto-optical and electro-optical modulators, delivery of the beams to the inside the vacuum chamber, and implementation of the diffraction limited optical system for ion imaging and addressing of the individual ions with the laser beams.

The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of the development cycle: collaborate with team members to define technical requirements, design, test and integrate the optical systems in the final product.

Job Requirements

We are looking for several optical engineers to join the small team of scientists and engineers working on the next generation of the ion trap quantum processor. The candidate should have:

• Ph.D. in optical engineering, physics or related areas;
• At least 1-2 years of experience in optical design, implementation and testing of the optical or laser systems is preferred.
• Experience in optical design, familiar with optical (for example, Zemax or OSLO) and mechanical (Autodesk or Solidwork) CAD software, able to assemble and test complex optical systems.

Working Days: 5 days/week – 44 hrs (3 shifts)

• Carry out the daily operational duties and supervise residents in their regular activities
• Assist residents with any difficulties related to day-to-day issues at Dayspring Residential Treatment Centre and ensure their welfare and safety
