Requirements:

• At least an ACECCE or a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education
• At least 2 years of experience in the Early Childhood Industry
• Enthusiastic and passionate about children
• Conscientious and a team player
• Possess a high level of commitment
• Proficient in the English/Chinese Language (both written and spoken)
• Computer literacy skills are an advantage

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure students finish school homework (give spelling drills, prepare them for test/examinations – e.g. students do more practices on assessment books, ensure completed exercises in assessment books are marked, ensure corrections done)
2. Supervise and guide the student with their school work as well as life skills.
3. Plan and conduct child appropriate social and recreational activities and holiday programs
4. Ensure the safety, security and well-being of students
5. Address classroom disciplinary issues using positive disciplinary technique
6. Prepare/organise and execute/conduct creative learning activities and outings as required
7. Support the holistic development of students in alignment with organisation’s goals
8. Handle administrative classroom management tasks
9. Maintain regular communication with student’s parents
10. Foster good working relationship with students, parents and team members

REQUIREMENTS

• At least A-level or a Diploma in relevant discipline.
• Preferably WSQ Student Care certification.
• Prior work experience with children is a plus.
