Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team at Duck Learning. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our webstore operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage product listings on various webstores, including uploading new products, updating product information, and ensuring accurate pricing.
• Monitor inventory levels across all webstores and coordinate with the inventory team to replenish stock as needed.
• Respond to customer inquiries, reviews, and feedback on webstore platforms in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery to customers.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, including but not limited to data entry, record keeping, and scheduling meetings.
• Additional Responsibilities:
• Answering incoming phone calls and taking messages for relevant team members.
• Performing various other administrative duties to support the smooth operation of the office.

Qualifications:

• ITE Higher NITEC / Polytechnic Diploma / A Levels; additional certification in Office Management is a plus.
• Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in supporting webstore operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Your main job responsibility is to develop and plan early childhood programmes for the children in the centre:

Support the learning and development of infants and toddlers through interactive and stimulating experiences.

Responsible for implementing and execution of classroom and outdoor activities and ensuring a safe, conducive learning environment for the children.

Complete lesson evaluations / reflection. Communicate with families on their child's progress and development.

Maintain proper children's record and prepare child's portfolio for Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM).

Maintain record keeping for centre's operation purpose - audit, licensing, tracking, monitoring. Active participation and sharing of ideas, suggestions, learning, concerns and challenges during meetings.

Provide coverage duties for staff on leave and other adhoc duties. Plan and carry out events, excursions, workshops, collaborations with community etc.

Job Requirements:

Must have attained Certificate in Infant/Toddler Care and Development (CIT) / Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) / Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY). Registered with Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA). Have a valid certificate in first aid recognised by ECDA. Preferably have infant care experience in a pre-school setting. Demonstrate good communication skills. Adequate knowledge of current early childhood care and education development theories, research and practices possess classroom management skills and able to handle children's temperaments. Possess the necessary skills to plan, execute and evaluate appropriate developmental lessons.
