• Operate, manage, and maintain VMWare ESX and HCI technologies

You will be working for an IT service provider operating worldwide supporting our operative team in handling our international projects.

As IT Onsite Engineer, you will be providing 2nd line onsite technical Support to Enterprise users of desktop/laptop/PC, assisting with building and deployment of new desktop/laptop hardware, supporting mobile devices and managing tickets using the company’s chosen IT ticketing tool. You will also coordinate and communicate with the central helpdesk team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Onsite Engineer to take the next step in their IT career and you will:

• Provide technical support to end users on Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Handhelds and Smartphones etc.
• Troubleshooting hardware related issues and replace parts if needed
• Troubleshooting software related issues and apply fix
• Perform Install, Move, Add and Change activities
• Work with team members in completing job assignments
• Follow process to attend assigned jobs and escalate issues
• On-boarding and off-boarding users

You already have:

• Strong technical skills in trouble shooting issues related to Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Handhelds, Smart phones etc.
• At least 2 years of experience with end user support.
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Windows operating systems and business productivity applications i.e. MS-Office
• Familiar with ticketing system (such as Service Now and etc.)
• Collaboration experience including knowledge of remote control of PCs
• Strong customer service skills
• Attitude as a team player
• Fluency in both written and spoken English

• Working hours from 5.30 to 10.30 pm
• Provide support technical assistance to end-users, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of technical problems.
• Deployment, maintenance, upgrading, and support of client computer systems (hardware, software, OS, network, etc.)
• Windows OS, AD, Office 365 configuration and administration, patching & file server management
• Maintain high user satisfaction with excellent customer service, offering solutions to meet clients’ needs.
• IT asset management and other ad-hoc duties will be assigned as and when needed
• Knowledge of Freshwork will be an added advantage.

Job Requirements

• Good knowledge of Windows OS, AD, and Office 365, with basic IT network skillset.
• 2-3 years of relevant working experience, preferably from an SI environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude
• Good coordination and communication skills with internal and external customers
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Excellent customer management skills
