A) Job Description

1) To liaise with client and Professional Engineer (PE) in solving technical and detailing

The Job:

SCOPE

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Audio Visual & Engineering Technician is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all AV equipment. The incumbent is responsible to set-up, operate and troubleshoot the AV equipment, devices and systems and to ensure that the equipment is fully operational as and when needed. He/She is required to perform shift duties and other duties as may be arranged by the Director of Engineering or designate. The incumbent will also assist and guide guests and customers on the proper usage of the equipment.

OVERALL OBJECTIVES

· Assist in datacenter remodeling work and deploying additional services into existing data halls.

· Lead and work as a part of a team to create concept design schemes.

· Produce prospectus for potential designs.

· Manage the lead design consultant to produce and ensure the completeness of relevant designs and documentations.

· Follow relevant procedures and obtain necessary approvals.

· Create relevant procedures when necessary.

· Keep documentation up to date.

· Resolve design and site issues.

· Cross-check other discipline designs including mechanical design.

Educational Qualifications and Experience needed for this Job:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

1. Greenfield design

2. Live data center modification

3. Maintenance Operation

6. Be knowledgeable in electrical, telecommunication, structural, architectural, quantity survey, cost estimation, project management, construction management and facilities management.

· Presentable and confident in client facing

· Able to travel occasionally (around 20% of time)

· Experience with data center operation or banking operation is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transporting workers as well as various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.

• Assisting with the loading and offloading of products and materials.

• Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing.

• Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.

Requirements:

• Must have Singapore Class 4 driving license.

• Clean driving record.

• More than 2 years experience in driving.

• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.

• Working knowledge of local roads and routes.

• Effective communication skills.

• Punctual and reliable.

• 6 days per week
