WSHC Roles and Responsibilities
• Assist WSHO to update & maintain records of the incidents and all circumstances and events occurring.
• Coordinate with WSHO on EHS issues
• Assist WSHO to perform monthly site audits/inspection.
• Carry out daily inspection to ensure all works are carried out in a safe manner through the elimination of unsafe acts and unsafe conditions on site
• Work closely with site Operations Executives and Person in Charge at Projects on all Workplace Safety and Health issues.
• Assist to coordinate, conduct or facilitate Health & Safety training activities and safety meetings.
• Assist to maintain company's Integrated Management System (IMS), system compliance through audits and documentation
Requirements:
- At least a Professional certificate / Nitec or equivalent.
- Must possess at least an Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health by BCA.
- Must possess professional knowledge in Law and regulations (WSH Act and Environment).
- At least 3 years of working experience in construction industry.
- A good team player with good communication skills and multi-tasking.
- Physically Fit & Healthy.
- Hardworking and driven.
- Able to write and speak in English and Mandarin as need to liaise with Chinese Client and workers.
- Computer literate with MS Word, Excel, Power Point etc.
