Summary: The Engineering Assistant (Maintenance) is responsible for equipment maintenance and performance improvement activities in the Standard BioTools Singapore Pte. Ltd. Manufacturing site, in support of the site's business goals and objectives. This position requires the ability to work in a team environment, collaboration with engineering and production, high level of initiative and willingness to understudy and handle a diverse range of equipment in the site. The scope covers all operations including facilities from Store through manufacturing to Shipping.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Equipment Repair, Preventive Maintenance and Calibration:

• Daily equipment check list, Daily Management (DM) meeting, and go Gemba.
• Respond promptly with a sense of urgency to provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production. Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and optimise equipment operating parameters.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment per PM/CAL schedule and update records.
• Take initiative to drive continuous improvements and implement corrective action and preventive action to prevent recurrence of critical problems.
• Manage critical spares and equipment list through stock control, requisitioning and inventory control.
• Review frequency of equipment downtime and identify opportunity for improvements.
• New Process and Equipment:
• Support installation and buy-off of new equipment (IQ and OQ).
• Maintain a maintenance record to document issues and services performed.
• Review trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement of equipment up time performance.
• Initiate and execute improvement projects in equipment set-up, repairs, maintenance and preventive maintenance (to achieve improved uptimes, cost, cycle time, yield, productivity, output, quality and to meet safety & health requirements).

Compliance to Quality System

• Support the implementation of quality system.
• Identify and rectify any procedure discrepancies and specification deviations.
• Accurate and complete record keeping and procedure update.
• Effective execution and record keeping of stipulated process controls and quality checks (preventive maintenance and calibration )

Tools and Fixtures

• Initiate new orders, design improvements, repair, support needs for new requirements and manufacturing run-rate increase.

Housekeeping and Safety

• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Responsible for good housekeeping and safety of maintenance work area. Assist manufacturing in equipment and work area housekeeping such as organization of cables, pipes, and maintaining good equipment conditions. Good housekeeping after repair or task is completed.

Others

• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications Include:

• NTC or Diploma or equivalent course in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Willing to learn and ability to acquire multi-skills set to handle different processes & tasks.
• Hardworking and possess high level of initiative and self-motivated.
• Willing to work in a cleanroom environment & on rotating shifts.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Hands-on with experience in equipment troubleshooting & repairs.
• Must be able to read schematics and complex drawings/diagrams.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
• At least 4 years relevant experience in the semiconductor wafer fab or assembly industry

A project engineer is responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines needed to complete a project. The project engineer works to plan projects, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews, and ensure the proper implementation of project elements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Good knowledge and experience in engineering design for ACMV, HVAC & Control Systems
• Well-versed in the installation of HVAC equipment's chillers, AHU, MV systems, packaged units, VRV systems, and split units
• Attend to site tests and inspections to ensure the quality of standards and all health & safety requirements are adhered to
• Assist in the preparation of progress payments claims and variation orders where required
• Works closely with the Project Managers and site personnel in the execution of task schedule
• Supervise contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, and staff at the site.

The thermal insulation engineer will:

· Have the required competencies for the fabrication and application of specialist insulation systems, cladding and sealant to pipework, to the required standard, while adhering to health, safety and environmental regulations and safe working practices, and taking into account environmental and sustainability considerations.

· Understand the relevant legislative, regulatory and local requirements or procedures and safe working practices, including their responsibilities with regards to reporting lines and procedures.

· Understand the preparation and reinstatement requirements in respect of the work area, materials and equipment, and the possible consequences of incorrect actions in these areas.

· Be able to read and interpret relevant engineering drawings, related specifications, quality standards and equipment manuals, and to follow work instructions and relevant plans and schedules.

· Understand which tools and equipment to use, and when, and will follow relevant training, methods and techniques and quality control and safety procedures for their use.

· Understand their responsibilities for ensuring the care and security of tools and equipment used.

Responsibilities:

• To receive and record technical and/ or application support and act as a level 1 support and provide investigation, diagnosis, resolution and recovery for application issues. Training will be provided.
• To maintain overall ownership of issues and ensure that issues are resolved within service level agreement. Escalate priority issues to level 2 support if required.
• To perform systems administration/ maintenance and works toward continuous optimization of systems performance.
• To administer local development servers and environments, such as setup, configuration, user account management and backup management.
• To manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on infrastructure managed.
• To provide occasional after hours support for routine preventive system maintenance (remote support).

Responsibilities:

• Resolve incidents within SLA timeframe and perform root cause analysis, finding to solve the problems.
• Escalate unsolvable incident/ problem to the Operation Lead or Service Delivery Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for deployment and operations of enterprise network security infrastructure including Firewall IPS, IDS Content Filtering Load balancer VPN Infrastructure.
• Excellent knowledge of core network services (DNS, SNMP, SMTP, NTP, syslog, HTTP).
• Responsible for handling day to day operational tasks checklists and performing scheduled activities assigned
• Attending to the tickets assigned to the queue monitoring for services adhering to the Incident AND change management process.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience working in Network Security Operations environment.
• Troubleshooting DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM).
• Advance knowledge on F5 Load Balancers platforms for application delivery and a deep understanding of network design.
• Knowledgeable in basic SSL Devices Security.
• Familiarity with common industry test equipment (Cisco Switches/Routers)
• Good understanding of ITIL methodology, in-depth knowledge in incident, change and problem management process.
• CCNA / CCNP / CISSP/ CCIE / CCSE – Security would be an added advantage
