• The Helmsman/Steersman is responsible for ferrying divers and work equipment from work jetty to work area in Singapore.
• Assist in on-site work
• Overall in-charge of boat with general housekeeping, upkeep condition and seaworthiness.
• Port Limit Steersman Certificate (Valid Manning Licence from MPA).
• Minimum five years of steerman experience in harbour crraft.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Workout and maintain VO schedule and to final account with client / consultant.
• Raise RFI for any discrepancies.
• Attend all site, Architects & Consultants meeting.

• Manage and planning manpower allocation.
• Manage and lead a project team to ensure site progress accordingly to project schedule.
• To solve all technical issue.
• Any other task assigned by the management

Qualifications & experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years experience in ACMV system.
• Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. IT skills in Microsoft office, Autocad, BIM.
• Excellent leadership & interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for sourcing new M&E projects for the company, hire necessary people and execute.
• Propose M&E projects/business plan to the board of directors and obtain necessary budget/investment approval.
• Lead all M&E related aspects of works and liaise with clients and M&E teams as necessary to facilitate contract requirements.
• Provide the planning input for the M&E works.
• Initiate and manage schedule for M&E subcontracts and designs.
• Assist in technical coordination meetings with subcontractors and project staff.
• Responsible for the as-built documents and drawings, for the performance tests, the commissioning and hand over, the snagging and snagging reports.
• Attend consultant and site meetings with the Project Team and to carry out inspections on site to ensure that the M&E works carried out by the builder to meet the desired quality/workmanship and are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage external/outsourced resources (consultants and site supervisory staff) to execute the projects.
• Ensure that contractors carry out works in a safe manner with the necessary risk assessments and workplace safety measures in place to manage project risks.
• Undertake any other tasks or responsibilities as required in the course of work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the Workshop Manager in managing the workshop operations and ensure all KPIs are met.
• Ensure operation costs including but not limited to material, manpower, and operating are kept within the operation budget.
• Review and enhance the existing systems without compromising quality or service while optimizing cost.
• Manage and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Process statistics and writing reports, to review performance and recommend procedural enhancement for discussion
• Manage corporate fleet maintenance projects.
• Establish, implement and monitor safe working practices and procedures.
• Perform routine safety inspections on equipment and sites to ensure workshop conforms to all health & safety regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma holder in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering discipline or equivalent qualification
• Minimum two years experience in an operations environment in the Automotive Industry
• Able to build effective relationships with cross-divisional teams
• Proven tactfulness in communicating with others and constructively resolving challenges
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
