What we are looking for

We are seeking highly skilled engineering professionals who are keen to mentor and guide the next generation of technical experts in ITE as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering.

• Hands-on experience: Minimum 3 years in factory equipment maintenance and operations (manufacturing or automation).
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in at least one of the following within a manufacturing environment:
  Engineering resource management with the ability to:Develop and manage budgets for equipment and resources.
  Optimise resource allocation for efficient and sustainable factory operations.
  
  Quality control with the ability to:Implement and maintain quality control protocols in a manufacturing environment, considering sustainable practices.
  Analyse data to identify and address quality control issues while minimising environmental impact.
  
  Industrial automation with a deep understanding of:PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) programming and troubleshooting.
  Industrial sensor applications (vibration, temperature, flow rate, etc.) for data collection and analysis to optimise resource utilisation.
  Robotics integration and maintenance in automated production lines.
  
• Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date with the latest advancements in automation and digital transformation technologies, including:Cybersecurity principles for protecting data and systems in industrial automation environments.
  Sustainability practices in manufacturing, including resource conservation and energy efficiency.
  

You should be trained in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics with at least 3 years of practical experience in factory equipment maintenance and operations in the manufacturing or automation sector. Possessing relevant certification in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) will be an advantage. You should also display passion and commitment to an engineering and teaching career.

• Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions in Singapore, including recruitment, internships, onboarding, offboarding, learning and development, payroll, employee relations, and performance management, ensuring compliance with Singapore labor laws and other applicable regulations.
• Support the Group HR Manager in developing and implementing HR policies while ensuring adherence to these policies and practices within the Singapore office.
• Collaborate with the MY Assistant HR Manager to meet all staffing and onboarding requirements for both SG and MY executives and workforce.
• Partner with the SG HR & Admin Team to roll out the new HRIS for Group HR operations across Singapore and Malaysia.
• Assist with internal audits and tasks related to regulatory compliance.
• Foster a cohesive company culture aligned with the group's core values and mission, ensuring consistency in employee engagement and workplace practices.
• Undertake any additional assignments as directed by Senior Management or the Group HR Manager.

• With Diploma or Higher in related field.

The Quantity Surveyor reports to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and assists in all costs and contractual issues in Main Contract as well as Sub-Contracts connected to the project.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Ensure accurate measurement of quantities to assist in the preparation of progress payment claims, variation order claims and payments to subcontractors and suppliers including all final accounts.
• Involve in preparing regular cost reports including maintenance budget cost controls.
• Assist in maintaining good documentation of events at site for variation order / EOT claims.
• To work closely with the site storemen to ensure proper documentation of materials control.
• Be familiar with the specifications and scope of works at various stages of the project so as to be able to advise the structural, architectural and M&E coordinators on the contracted design requirements.
• Assist in the procurement of sub-contractors and suppliers of specified materials.
• Attend technical meetings to keep abreast of design development issues and provide cost escalation alerts.
• Learn and be adequately briefed on the contractual / legal rights of the Main Contractor in order to advise colleagues at site and the management on any choke points during the project.
• Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.
