• Collaborate with geotechnical engineers to assess soil conditions and determine appropriate foundation types.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage civil and structural engineering projects from concept through completion.
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Provide technical review during the construction phase, ensuring that all work is performed according to design specifications.
• Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with safety standards and design requirements.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during construction, offering engineering solutions as needed.
• Review and approve contractor submittals, including shop drawings, material samples and ensure compliance with Engineering Standards, company & industry best practices.

• Preparation of technical proposal to customer, project / EPC scoping strategy, vendor selection (bid review, technical clarification and bid evaluation), and all other support related to technical etc.
• Generate material take-offs (MTO) and bill of materials (BOM).
• Review stress analysis report to ensure structural integrity under various operating conditions.
• Work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and construction teams
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation
• Liaise with QP for special studies and other regulatory requirements.
• Establish system and documentation for company engineering standards & specification, ITP, approved vendor/manufacturer list, material specifications, discipline’s schedule of rates and cost estimate template, engineering checklists etc.
• Ensure all designs and documentation are up to date and in line with current industry standards and best practices.
• Incorporate sustainable design principles into projects to minimize environmental impact.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies, materials, and methods in civil and structural engineering.
• Explore innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and durability of structures.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8-15 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with a focus on design and construction.
• Experience in power and water utilities as well as renewable energy projects is preferred.
• Experience in other renewable energy projects, especially Hydrogen, Wind, CCU is preferred.
• Have a passion and experience in areas related to energy transition and infrastructure.
• Good understanding of the relevant local and international codes and standards.

Position: Engineering Supervisor
Salary: $2,900 – $3,400 per month
Reporting To: Senior Facility Engineer/Engineer

Location: Macpherson

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership & Training:Lead, train, and supervise a team of engineering technicians.
   
2. Maintenance & Repair:
   Undertake breakdown repairs and modifications for utilities and facility equipment, including:Boiler, air compressor, ammonia chiller, cold room, air conditioning, wastewater treatment plant, and cooling towers.
   Oversee preventive maintenance and installation of new equipment.
   
3. Engineering Works:Manage engineering modification projects and new equipment installations.
   Conduct weekend maintenance works as required.
   
4. Inventory & Procurement:Take charge of the engineering store and ensure proper documentation of spare parts movement.
   Oversee ordering and procurement of spare parts.
   
5. Supervision & Safety:Supervise contractor works and ensure worker safety.
   Monitor and control workers' overtime.
   

Requirements:

• Education: Min Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical knowledge (advantageous).
  

Responsibilities:

1) Assist and work in SRTC Site for testing purposes.

2) Monitor train signals, speed limits, track conditions, and weather conditions to ensure safe operations.

3) Perform pre-departure inspections to ensure the train is in proper working condition.

4) Maintain communication with station control center, conductors, and other relevant personnel to coordinate operations and report any issues. 5) Respond to emergency situations, including braking, troubleshooting, and adhering to safety protocols.

6) Adhere to all relevant laws, company policies, and safety standards while driving trains.

Qualifications:

1) High school diploma or equivalent

2) Additional qualifications in engineering, mechanics, or transportation is preferred.

3) A valid Train Driver or Locomotive Engineer certification/license (requirements vary by country/region).

4) Prior experience as a train driver or in a similar transportation role preferred.

1) Ensure the project complies with safety standards, quality control

procedures, and regulatory requirements.

2) Supervise inspections, audits, and testing of materials and work.

E) Progress Monitoring and Reporting

1) Track project progress against timelines and deliverables.

2) Provide regular updates to senior management, stakeholders, and

regulatory bodies.

3) Address any deviations from the schedule or budget.

F) Problem-solving and Decision-making

1) Resolve issues related to construction, engineering, or delays that

might impact the project’s schedule or budget.

G) Project Closeout

1) Ensure all deliverables are completed, and the MRT system is

handed over to the operational team.

2) Organize the final inspection and commissioning process.

Requirements

1) At least a degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,

Electrical Engineering, or Locomotive

2) Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are often

preferred.

3) Significant experience (5+ years) in managing large infrastructure

projects, especially in transport or construction industries.

4) Previous experience in MRT or rail projects is highly advantageous.

5) Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project,

Primavera).

6) Knowledge of the MRT system design, construction, and operational

requirements.

7) Understanding of safety standards and environmental regulations.
