We are looking for a data-driven and responsible and support project development activities for Project Management & Plant Maintenance to join our team.

The Engineering Project Manager will apply project management best practices to drive efficiency, mitigate risks, and ensure successful project delivery.

You will be responsible for developing Establish, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet regulatory and Class Approval requirements

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform front end engineering design (FEED) and basic design for Process Design, Review and Engineering for Plant Operation facilities, utility power and water, Petrochemical, Pharmaceuticals, industries and utility scale renewable projects.
• Manage budgets for All the projects, oversee licensing, and document quality approvals and procedures across sites.
• Develop P&ID, mass and heat balance, process flow diagram, operating/ control philosophy, overall supply scheme, layout, equipment specification, yield analysis etc.
• Develop and continually improve internal engineering best practices and procedures to provide engineering services of high quality in support of the various projects.
• Lead in process design and review inter-disciplines design/ engineering with consideration for safety, quality, performance, reliability, flexibility of operation with optimal project and life cycle cost.
• Develop and continually improve in the following Systems

- SCADA System & Server for BMS & EMS system

- PLC TIA Portal V15 for Control System

- Reporting System for PWS, BMS & EMS System

- DCS Control System

- Field Instruments & VFD System

- Production System

- Utilities System (Purified Water System, Compressor System, Chiller Plant, Boiler System

• Evaluation of new technology and innovation solutions.
• Conduct engineering activities during business or project development including but not limited to pre-feasibility/ feasibility studies, technical due diligence, cost estimation, site survey, technical proposal to customer, project / EPC scoping strategy, vendor selection and review, determine LCOE, budgetary quotation review and clarifications, and all related technical support and solutions etc.
• Participate in engineering activities during project execution including but not limited to preparation of Scope of Work / Design Memorandum / Minimum Functional Specification, tender review on technical proposals and clarifications, attend site queries and site installation issues that related to design, pre-commissioning, testing and commissioning, PSSR etc.
• Participate in HAZOP, QRA, EIA studies.
• Review and approval of detailed design submitted by Contractors and ensure compliance with Standards and all the company best practices.
• Familiar with multiple energy resource simulation and and optimisation tools.
• Establish system and documentation for company engineering standards & specification, ITP, approved vendor/manufacturer list, material specifications, discipline’s schedule of rates and cost estimate template, engineering checklists etc.
• Ensure all activities carried out are in full compliance to all regulatory and authority requirement.
• Ensure engineering support is provided in a timely manner to all stakeholders through resource planning, close collaboration with discipline engineers and team members, contractor management, etc.
• Where applicable, provide training and guidance other team members.
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Ensure compliance with fire protection standards, regulations, and codes throughout project execution.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, engineers, and field technicians.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality standards, and address any issues.
• Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely resolution of challenges.
• Lead risk assessment and implement strategies to minimize project risks.
• Lead quality initiatives and promote a quality culture across the company, ensuring continuous performance improvement. Coordinate and conduct audits, report outcomes, and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
• Support teams in conducting root cause analysis and incident investigations, and compile reports in accordance with regulatory standards. Train employees on QMS processes and ensure clear communication of quality procedures and responsibilities
• Manage budgets for QMS projects, oversee licensing, and document quality approvals and procedures across allocated sites.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Automation / Control & Instrumentation process design and engineering discipline or equivalent
• At least 10-15 years of experience in energy business related engineering management and project management (engineering and construction).
• Experience in Pharmaceuticals, Petrochemicals, power and water utilities as well as renewable energy projects is preferred.
• Good command of multiple energy resource simulation and optimization tools is preferred.
