Environmental health and safety (EHS) coordinators work to create and enforce a culture of safety within their organizations. They implement programs, policies, and assessments to ensure their company is in compliance with all federal and internal health and safety rules.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist EHS Officers in the implementation, review & improvement of the Integrated Management System.
• Monitor and inspect work sites to ensure that safe work practices are carried out in all work operations and compliant with ISO & WSH Act requirements.
• Conduct and organize EHS audits, trainings, meetings and promotional programs to raise employee awareness and knowledge.
• Investigating all incidents which occurred and propose recommendations to the management for adoption.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies on safety related notices & issues, ensuring certifications are up to date and relevant.
• Preparation of all documentations and bridging documents required by Company’s specification and Job Safety Analysis.
• Carry out any other assignments as tasked by the EHS Officer

Requirements

• WSH Level B Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health
• Familiar with the statutory requirements related to WSH Act and other aspect of safety
• At least 3 years of safety experience in Construction/Building field
• A team player and ability to work independently and influence others
• Excellent problem-solving skills, and able to maintain composure under stress
• Takes initiative to make things happen
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Possess own transport

Our client is looking for a senior director to manage their data centre design / engineering for regional expansion. You will be leading the inhouse engineering design team.

Responsibilities:

· To ensure we deliver to our customers on time and on budget.

· Lead the internal & external design teams as our project technical lead.

· Develop innovative Building & associated MEP solutions for our data centres.

· Collaborate with both internal and external construction and commissioning teams.

· Drive continuous engineering solutions across the business by leading the design of customer-centric solutions.

· Lead a project design team from inception to delivery of multi-MW hyperscale solutions.

· Develop high-level schematics of Building & associated MEP solutions.

· Develop Basis of Design documents to communicate design intent externally and internally.

· Perform concept equipment layouts.

· Collaborate with our top cloud and enterprise customers and communicate presentations on all aspects of design.

· Develop high level master planning, space planning and engineering solutions for potential new developments (conceptual and feasibility stage)

· Coordinate technical aspects of direct procured equipment and facilitate alignment with the design team.

· Understand commercial implications of engineering decisions and build cost models for customers.

Requirements:

· Minimum 20+ years' experience in design and project delivery across multiple industries

· 10+ years’ experience working for a data centre design experience in the Asia Pacific market as a consultant will be an advantage.

· Strong leadership and foresight to lead multi-disciplinary teams across multiple geographies.

· Exceptionally flexible and forward-thinking as you must be ready for continuous change in direction.

· Willing to make decisions and be accountable for them.

· Excel at communication and can deliver effective presentations on data centre operations to customers, peers, and management.

· Willing to travel to other APAC regions on a regular basis.
