• Uphold quality in every process of Distribution and Production operations undertaken

Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Marine Equipment Wholesaler
• Position Title: Sales Engineer (Marine Engineering)
• Working Location: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm (One Saturday per month, 9am – 12pm)
• Working Hours: Tuas West
• Salary Package: Up to $3,800 + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain products or services to customers.
• Coordinate with customers and the engineering/operations department to assess service job requirements.
• Collaborate with administrative staff for efficient engineer deployment.
• Secure and renew orders, including managing overseas delivery and logistics.
• Work closely with other sales teams to understand customer needs and provide sales and technical support.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the department head.

• Technical and Domain Expertise:Proficiency in business process modeling, process design, requirements management, and project management.
  Experience with business re-engineering methods, techniques, and the technology industry.
  Familiarity with applying Agile techniques to prioritize and define requirements iteratively.
  
• Certifications:Formal training in LEAN and Six Sigma (advantageous).
  
• Communication Skills:Strong written and verbal communication abilities to engage effectively with stakeholders and teams.
