• Ensure design, drawings, and all other deliverables meet the standard requirements and specifications.

• Organize and plan a design work schedule to meet deadlines.

• Oversee design preparation are efficient, well-coordinated, practical, and constructible.

• Prepare and submit shop drawings according to project specifications, ensure the design drawings are following the company design guidelines

• Work with the project team, sub-contractor, supplier, and factory team to ensure works are on schedule.

Requirements:

Possess 3 years of proven experience in AutoCAD/REVIT/BIM electrical field

Possess excellent computer skills in AutoCAD software, BIM and MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word & Project)

Independent, team player with ability to multi-task

Possess strong communication and organization skills

Job Requirements

• PhD degree in chemistry, materials science and engineering, electric and computer engineering, or chemical engineering.
• Ample research experience in synthesis of nanomaterials and nanocomposites, perovskite solar cells, smart windows, neurocomputing
• Solid background/experience in materials for optoelectronics and memristors.
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Strong publication record
• Prior undergraduate and master students mentoring experience

Responsibility:

• To work closely with SQS in supervising and managing QS’ performance
• To prepare project costing
• To prepare and issue sub-contract to sub-contractor/ supplier
• To manage Project Change Request (PCR) for addition/omission of project funding
• Regular reporting of project account status, including costing, outstanding payment & etc
• Identify, analyze and evaluate problems encountered by QS / SQS and propose the effective solution approach

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent

• Experienced in the design of water treatment plants (desalination, potable water, recycle water), wastewater treatment plants (municipal and industrial) and membranes systems (MBR, MF/UF, Reverse Osmosis, Nano-Filtration, etc.)

• Review Client’s Requirement, Technical Specifications & Tender Specifications to generate engineering deliverables (General Specification & Particular Specifications, Datasheets, Major Equipment List, Pipe List, Mass Balance, Hydraulic Profiles, Process Flow Diagram, Process & Instrumentation Diagram, etc.)

• Assist the Engineering Manager on engagement with Clients, Consultants, Sub-Contractors, Vendors, and others for the development of design, procurement, fabrication, construction, erection and commissioning works.

• Coordinate with inter-disciplines engineering team (Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Automation, C&S, Piping & Systems/Skids Engineering and Drafting) on development of engineering deliverable on a timely basis.

• Reviewing and providing input to project schedule and ensure all planned dates and progress are realistic. Provide updates on engineering deliverables per schedules and implement catch-up actions where applicable.

• Procurement Services Support: Develop the applicable Equipment List/Package, Technical Specifications and Bill of Materials to support Procurement Department to issue Request for Quotation (RFQ). Assist to review the RFQ, prepare applicable technical & commercial clarifications with selected Sub-Contractors or Suppliers. Provide justification on the shortlisted Sub-Contractors or Suppliers for onward negotiations.

• Assist the Engineering Manager on the development of FAT, SAT, Pre-Commissioning, Start-up, Commissioning protocol and support the implementation.

• Development of Operational & Maintenance Manual.

• Assist the Engineering Manager to support project management team in project implementation related engineering, troubleshooting and maintenance requirement.
