• To liaise with SCDF and related parties for inspection and licensing matters and ensure diesel license are up-to-date and renewed promptly
• To plan daily road routes for diesel drivers and perform daily submission of Hazardous Material Transportation notification to SCDF
• To ensure all vehicles and equipment have proper maintenance, service regularly, certified and safe to use
• To ensure inventory accuracy, proper goods movement record, stock reconciliation, First in First Out (FIFO) system is in place and highlight discrepancy if any
• To plan and optimize storage capacity for inventory and replenished in timely manner
• To propose cost savings ideas and improvement to process and ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations
• To be involved in manpower planning and deployment & guide / lead new staffs and workers
• To lead the annual stock-take activity and cycle count and organize/conduct toolbox meeting
• Ensure safety practices and housekeeping is to maintained to the highest standard
• Any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned

Requirements

• Certificate / Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• Computer skills and Microsoft Office
• Location in Sungei Kadut Workshop until the workshop in Jalan Papan is ready

About the role - you will:

• Perform preventive maintenance and product conversion of the sputtering tool.
• Work with equipment and process engineering on continuous tool improvement on reliability performance and product defect reduction.
• Initiate ideas on equipment OEE and productivity improvement, safety hazards and cost saving reduction projects.
• Be trained to utilize data analytics and machine learning applications for tool troubleshooting and your feedback will be sought after for further improvements
• Be trained on vacuum technology fundamental and have the opportunities for continual learning and growth.

• Willing to work on 12hr (7.30pm to 7.45am) night shift pattern

Your experience includes:

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering or Diploma or ITE
• Knowledge or experience in Mechanical or Electronics
• Troubleshooting Mechanical or Electrical Equipment is an advantage
• Clean room experience will be an advantage
• Data analysis and MS office skills
• Fresh graduates are welcome

Job Description:

• Able to read & interpret tender specifications/ drawings.
• Good knowledge of contract and QS procedures and pricing.
• Responsible for the preparation of a complete mechanical (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) tender, including tabulate pricing, sourcing of supplier, BQ takeoff and Value Engineering, etc.
• Responsible for collating tender documents for submission.
• Perform administrative duties assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience with proven track record.
• Interdependent with good communication skills.
• Must possess good working attitude with self-motivation and commitment.
• Possess competency in using Word, Excel, PDF converter, etc.
• Training provided for entry level candidates.
