•Establish and implement controls to ensure that works are carried out safely according to the works programme and produce short term works plans

•Prepare bored piling drawings and soil investigation reports for bored piling work

•Check geotechnical parameters for bored pile installation

•Ensure that all corrective action and preventive action are implemented effectively and quality records are properly maintained

•Monitor and control progress to ensure that turnover and cost is in line with master construction programme

•Ensure material submission & approval, order and delivery are according to agreed schedules

•Prepare AutoCAD, shop, and as built drawings

Requirements

•Degree in Civil Engineering/Geology, recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore

•At least 3 years’ experience with extensive experience in bored piling projects

•Have experience in rock fissure and base grouting processes

•Familiar with local codes and regulations, as well as submission procedures

•Well versed in structural and geotechnical design software packages and technology

•Proficient in Microsoft Office, design software and analytical tools e.g. MicroStation, Praxis, STAAD.Pro, Prokon, etc

•Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude

•Strong negotiation, planning and analytical skills

•Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment

• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards
• Load and unload building materials and equipment
• Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth in preparation for construction
• Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements
• Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
• Build stairways, doors and window frames, partitions and rafters
• Carve and assemble furniture, kitchen cabinets, siding and drywall

• Conduct repairs and maintenance

• Full spectrum of HR & Administrative duties
• Assist to manage employees’ matters in areas of compensation matters, appraisal for annual increment and performance bonus
• Manage HR Administrative duties in areas of preparation of all HR related letters, insurance, maintaining HR Documentation, etc
• Ensure timely processing of monthly payroll for employees
• Journal entries for payroll, OT, bonus accrual and related
• Assist in coordinating in training programme and liaise with nominated trainees on training requirements
• General office administration and management
• Any ad hoc duties as assigned
• Able to update HR policies in line with Govt MOM policies for our Group of Companies
• Prepare employment contracts (Local/Foreign/Re-employment etc)
• Able to report employees attendance
• Maintain accurate records in HR system and employees' personal file
• Able to handle independently Employee HR issues (including staff insurance)
• Administer of work pass applications (new application, renewal, cancellation, etc)
• Provide general administrative support

Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:

• Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
• Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
• Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
• Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
• Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
• Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
• Liaising with Tender team.
• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
• Traveling from the office to various sites as required.

Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Management, or similar.
• Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Sound knowledge of construction.
• Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
• Great networking abilities.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with engineers, architects and the with the team to determine the specifications of the project.
• Responsible for preparing project start-up and execution plan, as well as to define key project targets in terms of time, cost, quality, and resources.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
• Lead a team of technical staff in planning and execution of day-to-day operations to achieve all key project targets.
• Liaise with and manage Subcontractors to deliver their respective performance targets in terms of time, cost, quality, and safety.
• Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities.
• Supervise the work of laborers, and give them guidance when needed on Project base.
• Assist the Project Director in tendering proposals to secure new projects.
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.

Requirements and skills:-

• Degree in Building/ Civil or Electrical Engineering/ Construction Management or related.
• Proven experience as construction project manager.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• A team player with leadership abilities.
