Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize mechanical performance through continuously improving existing product design.
• Monitor and report any problems or substandard mechanical quality observations to the management.
• Ensure all log books are maintained according to standard operating procedures.
• Liase with vendors for consistent improvement in production of quality parts
• Liase with engineering team for improvement in producibility of next generation product
• Consistently conduct product testing and performance testing and record the results.
• Perform final checks and adjustments for any defects to ensure high quality products
• Develop preventive maintenance procedures to avoid any breakdowns and failures.

Job Requirements

• Relevant qualifications in Electrical, Electronic and Robotics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
• Independent and initiated
• With a “can do” attitude and ability to innovate around challenges
• Willing to learn new industry techniques

An Electrical Engineering background to design Solar PV system, including prepration of Auto CAD drawings,SLD, STR, LPS and other related drwings. Must be independent and able to execute project alone. Must have minimum experience of Solar projects execution. Well versed with Electrical connections, Including Inverter, PVACDB

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage project and site activities, attend project meeting
• Perform equipment set up, start-up and commissioning
• Project implementation to ensure the successful and smooth delivery of systems/projects through effective planning, management, and deployment of resources
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot equipment faults after project handover
• Familiar with Singapore safety regulations and process. Prepare and submit project safety documents
• Works closely with the Project Team, Manufacturers and Vendors to deliver Customer’s expectation within timeline
• Involves in technical specifications review of the project scope
• Any ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Minimum ITE/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent

• Based on the tender documents and tender drawings, come up with the project BQ with the assistance of project engineer based on site conditions, do cost estimations
• Provide input to Director for decision on final tender price
• Attend tender interviews and reviews for project clarifications
• Upon award of tender, starts to plan and allocate resources (Manpower, Tools, and Equipment & Material) using the initial tender information as basis
• Do up a project schedule (including Manpower schedule, Cost & Claim schedule, etc) for effective project management, monitoring & reporting
• After the initial project planning, start to go through the engineering aspects of the project to ensure that the design and constructability of the design is sound
• Identify potential issues with the project and do up the appropriate MSRA to minimize the issues and execute the project in the best possible manner in term of cost, quality, time and resources requirements.
• Monitoring work activities as well as individual performance on a daily basis and submit daily report via the common communication mediums (Whatsapp, SMS, Email, etc)
• Submit weekly report during management meeting
• Coordinate and manage the customer acceptance process
• Coordinate project closeout documents
• Conduct Post Project Analysis and Reconciliation of Expectations in all aspects including a detailed project debriefing
• Coordinate the smooth transfer/handover of Project to Service and Maintenance team upon full project completion
• Build rapport with clients to aid successful completion of works
